I think if I would ever try to create a special order it would be a white gold 6 motif necklace with onyx and pave (since I'm too short for a 20 and a 10 looks lost on me but my 6 motif is perfect. Gosh I sound like Goldilocks)

Does anyone know if it’s possible to special order a 5 motif Alhambra rock crystal bracelet? I’ve gotten mixed feedback…
I only know of people who have been told no. I think the general consensus is that it cannot be special ordered, but no one would be surprised if one of the top customers in the world can order any combo they want.
It’s so strange - about a year ago I inquired with my SA about the rock crystal bracelet and she said while they didn’t have any in stock they could do a special order but it would take a few months. I decided to just buy a piece they had in stock at the time thinking I can get the RC piece later. Well I ask about it again now that I’m ready to add another piece to my collection and was told it’s not possible with no explanation. I’m sure inventory of stones fluctuates, but none of these stones are rare. Tired of brands playing these games.
Is it possible that the first sales associate was misinformed? I have found that to be the case very often. I have attempted to collect rock crystal pieces, and I only have very few pieces due to the scarcity. As far as I know, no one in this forum has been able to special order a rock crystal piece, and we have some members here with very extensive VCA profiles. I understand that it is frustrating that some of these items are so limited since the stones themselves are not scarce, but if the jewelry is not being manufactured, then it cannot be sold. Consider how many people want pink porcelain and are unable to obtain it because it is not currently being made. Pink porcelain is certainly not a rare material, but just having a slab of porcelain is not the same thing as being able to get a piece of designer jewelry made out of that material.
It was the same sales associate, but I suppose it’s possible that she was misinformed. Of course you have a point and I completely understand, it’s just like you said - it gets frustrating when you can’t get the one piece you want, especially when you were given a glimmer of hope previously (even if just by mistake, haha).
