I would not waste my time here. They don’t d

Much agreed! Very very shady sales practices here. I posted a while back but I decided to visit my SA again and was "offered" a Constance upon visiting. The SA said I had to buy 5K+ worth of stuff which is fine. Before walking to the register, I asked if I could see the bag before paying. She replies, "I have to see if it's still available." She goes to the back and says, "oh I have the bag but you still need to spend a little more."
Ugh.... this sounds all too familiar. I wonder if it’s the same sales lady my friend had. I wont Discuss names in public, but just curious.

SCP is my homestore, I have to admit that it is not really “ a honest store”. They erase purchase history every six months and want us to spend on fine jewelry and/or watches if you want your holy grail bags. Better to spend your money wisely in other H store and buy something you really love.
Yes to this!!! Not all stores are like this. “Erasing purchase history every 6 months”... it’s crazy to think of that if you miss the spending mark. Or let’s say you meet the spending mark, but no bags are available to you, not through any fault of your own...your spending history resets and you are left with no bag and need to start over. It’s pretty terrible actually.

I was there yesterday too. This is my home store. My SA was not in yet and I was ignored for a while, but they were very busy. I have had great success at this store but I try to go when I know it is not going to be very busy and I make an appointment with my SA prior to showing up. The key for me was to find the SA that I really had a connection with prior to finding my SA I didn't have a good impression of this store either.
It’s great that you found someone you could connect with! Especially at that store. It could be there are a few bad apples that ruin if for the rest! I refuse to buy there anymore.. just pop in to check out styles and inventory then call my Sa to get whatever it is I want.

I wonder if BH or SD has better process and SAs?
I have been to the BH store once and really liked it. I met a lovely SA who gave me a tour of the store since I hadn't been there before. Once again, I went on a Tuesday morning and it wasn't busy. Timing is everything I think. Even though BH is only about 5 miles farther than SCP it took me 2 hours to get there where SCP usually takes one with traffic. You should check it out. I haven't been to the SD store yet. I have heard it is smaller than SCP.

While I don't know a lot of the other SA’S nobody has ever been rude to me. Some people are certainly more accommodating and friendlier than others, like everywhere else. I saw they have a lot of new people during my recent trip maybe try again to find someone that you feel like you want to work with and you feel like they are sincerely trying to make you happy.

Totally! Nobody in the store has ever been outwardly rude to me either. It’s more the dishonesty and sales tactic that does not sit right with me. But this may just be with a few of the SA’s There. I’m so happy for you though that you have found someone there that you work well with! I agree With you - never go there during busy hours

I am Fortunate in that I have found a new home store and a wonderful SA who is amazing. So all is well here! But my experience and my friends experience at SCP has definitely left somethhing to be desired.

I am just curious- Is special order more difficult than the offers they give you while you are in store?
Yes, SO bags are generally given to their best customers or long-standing customers that are searching for a specific bag/color/ leather etc that isn’t being offered outside of a SO. It is my understanding that some stores have more SO’s to offer based on the store volume same with each SA.

I walked into the South Coast Plaza store and was ignored. I was in front of their fine jewelry section for 15 mins and no one acknowledged me. If this is the type of service Hermes offers, I am definitely taking my shopping money for my loved one elsewhere. Not thrilled.
I had the same as experience as you did, but have now found a lovely SA. I think you should gave them another chance maybe you will be able to connect with a SA.

I spoke to the same gentleman at the SCP store over the phone for the past couple of times and he seems very nice and friendly. I live two hours away from this store and thinking about visiting it but this darn rain keeps stopping me to drive all way up there.
A few day ago I purchased Lindy30 online and now I want to check out other Hermes items like scarves, perfumes and fine jewelry. My fav is Kelly 28 out of three most coveted H bags and hoping to score it someday in future. After reading all these comments I am not sure if I should try my luck at SCP store. Any advise?

If you spend on fine jewelry or watches, you have quite a chance, but you probably need to hit their target first. Never know maybe you get lucky. I also met a sales assistant named Quinn, he is very friendly and sincere, too bad he is not authorized to offer B/K/C since he is pretty new.

What Sanny said is true. If you buy fine jewelry and or a watch your odds of being offered a B or K go up. My advice would be to stop buying online and commit to a a SA that you like and feel comfortable working with. Your online purchases will not factor into whether you are offered a B or K. Once you establish yourself as a regular, odds will go up dramatically. On the other hand if it’s a two hour drive are you willing to invest that kind of time each way hoping to score a bag. There will probably be multiple trips involved before that happens. Is there a closer store? SCP is my home store and with traffic it takes me about an hour. If it was a two hour drive I probably would not get there except a couple times a year.
