Even if the SA doesn’t get a commission the store profits from the sale. That plays a part in the SM saying yes when approached by the SA saying they would like to offer you a bag. Since you are much closer to BH I would probably go there. I would imagine that they have quite a bit more inventory. I have only been there once since it takes me 2 hours with traffic.

Thank you megt10  I took your advise and went to BH store. It was weekend so the store was very crowded but I was welcomed and greeted by almost every staff member I made eye contact with, they have a wonderful staff. I met my SA for the first time:biggrin:and he is so wonderful and kind, not pushy at all! I called ahead and asked for a couple of items that I was interested in purchasing so he held them for me. I am going back once they get my order in for Selma booties. My SA asked me if I wanted anything else and I smiled and talked about my dream bag, he brought out his booklet and asked me choice of colors, leather and HW, size etc. I gave him pretty wide range of choices so I am hoping to score it someday soon:biggrin: OMG! I felt like I was dreaming! Anyway I told him I am not in rush, in the mean time I will keep shopping at BH store for the goodies that I really love and enjoy. It was the most wonderful and exciting shopping experience for me, thanks for recommending.

Oh, I am thrilled to hear that! It really is fun to go once you have found an awesome SA that you click with. I am so happy for you.

Hello everyone fashionista here ❤️ Thank you a lot for all the information about Hermes brand, I and every “new” person really appreciate that. I’m not new in luxurious goods world, but Hermes was for me some mysterious sphere Finally, I grew up to the level of “dream bag”, and wanna start “the game” for long term relationships. Honestly, I’m not only a bag person, I’m buying a lot RTW from different well known brands during last 3 years. I was wondering where is better to start getting points. I have two choices rather Hermes South Cost Plaza, or H at Beverly Hills location. I’m living in Santa Monica, so for me of course BH location is closer, but honestly I never been there, because mostly I go shopping on Sundays and they are closed on that day. I have been at H SCP several times, bought Oran sandals. Generally, they are fine, but not to much welcome in people, even you dressed up in all brand names from head to toe. The selection is limited on everything, they don’t have too much RTW, and it is not easy to find a pair of shoes in right size. My BF said that at H BH even worse selection, they never have right shoe sizes or even belts.
So I’m confused where is better to get SA with whom I can start “working”? May be someone know Christopher and his schedule, I worked with him one time and he seemed a nice guy, he brought me a different sizes in different variation of shoes which weren’t even on display, and Jide clutches. Is anyone worked with him before? Is it possible with him or someone there to get B/K? I like Hermes goods and planning to purchase:
1. Pair of men’s shoes, men’s Belt, Men’s Sweater/pants/t-shirt (I was purchasing these goods at LV almost the same price, but LV include wool, H does similar ones in cashmere, which is better I think)
2. Women mules/Oran sandals/H heels (honestly I never seen them there)/and for next fall Jumping boots; Women RTW: blouses or t-shirtT, Scarf. Women’s belt, Small vase/tea cups and cake plate, Leather dog or another one thick leather Bracelet. Does small watch on leather band counts? Or may be instead of leather bracelet, scars buy something from RTW?
What do you think, does these goods count for B/K, and is it possible to get an offer for the next fall? I’m interested in B 30 gold/etoupe/Gris torteille.
I would appreciate everyone’s help.

Is it better to start purchasing in Beverly Hills stores or SCP?

Since you live closer to the BH store, start there. If you feel that you haven’t been able to connect the SA try SCP. Most SA’s already have established clients that they work with and these clients usually have set appts with them. When you wish to shop call and set an appt up and try asking for Christopher or email him and let him know what you are looking for, they can usually get what you want it the store. Good luck and let us know the outcome.

I would establish a relationship at Beverly Hills. You are closer, it is a larger store and it has more inventory. Plus, it has the craftspeople based there and better yearly sales merchandise. ( if Hermes is still having yearly sales).

The BH definitely has more inventory. I love shopping there and the customer service have been consistently pleasant and professional.

Thank you for reply! I was wondering, what goods are considered qualified for B/K bag? I was reading on forum that leather goods don’t count. It means, jide clutches/leather bracelets like Dog in exotic or De chin are not in count?! I would like to have combination of Jide clutch and leather bracelet, it looks stylish. Or it would be better to purchase watch around 3k or gold bracelet? Thanks a lot!

I wanted to offer some hope to those whose home store is SCP. I started my journey, or H game, 3 months ago when the economy started opening up (covid/apocalyptic 2020 for those who stumble across this post years later). I don’t know if it was timing or just finding the right SA, but I got a coveted black b30 just last weekend. I think the pandemic probably did work in my favor as visiting the store was, and still is, by appointment only. The store has been pretty empty the times I’ve been there because of the appointment-only system and having a skeleton crew working the store. So I got to know my SA and my SA got to know me. I was pretty eager and was pretty up front about my intentions, but I also truly love the brand and am very impressed by the quality. I am also lucky my SA is darling, straightforward and doesn’t play these bait and switch games I’m reading about in previous posts. I would be furious if a SA did this to me and would definitely change SAs or talk to management about this dishonest practice.

Thank you for your reply about H at SCP. I was wondering, before your SA offered you a quota bag, what was your purchase history? Thank You a lot!

I am asking the same question. Did you reach 1:1 before that B offer? Congratulations by the way.
Hi! Yes, I did reach 1:1 before that B offer. Unfortunately it isn't one of those stories where I walked in and bought a few small things and got offered a bag shortly after, but thank goodness it isn't one of those stories where I bought 2:1 and had to beg for a bag.

I actually think 1:1 is fair. I feel bad for people who pay more than that and still don’t get a bag. You just never know, maybe one day, the Hermes God will bless us and bags will come easier. Lol.

I started this journey last month, spent 9k at scp so far..Bought fine jewelry, belt, twilly, card holder and shoes..

My SA said it takes time to get what I really want, and they have no stock right now.

Should I keep buying more? Or wait? I don’t mind spend more, but worried that my SA is one of those keep telling you to buy but wont offer anything..
