Books & Music Song Lyrics as a Tattoo.

I would get something from Elton John or Heart, two of my most favorite musicians/groups EVER.

Not sure what, they both have fabulous songs and great lyrics...sigh.
I'll stick with my Egyptian themed tattoos for now...

Not tattoo material, but I like:

You disagree, take the Tyson approach and bite me!
-Number One Spot by Ludacris

Not guilty, he who does not feel me is not real to me
Therefore he doesn't exist
So poof...vamoose son of a *****
-H to the Izzo (H.O.V.A.) by Jay-Z

Here are some that would make great tattoos:

So let go, jump in
Oh well, what're you waiting for
It's alright
'Cause there's beauty in the breakdown
-Let Go by Frou Frou

I won't worry my life away
-The Remedy by Jason Mraz

Apple Bottom Jeans
Boots with the fur
The whole club was lookin at her
She hit the fo'
Next thing you know
Shawty got low low low low low low low low
-Low by Flo Rida feat T. Pain

i'm really glad that this thread got resurrected, because i think it would be really cool to get "can you still feel the butterflies?" on the inside of one of my wrists. really cool.

DO IT AMANDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my inner wrist tattooed (I'm getting the other done soon with a mirror image)
and...I can't believe I didn't get it done sooner!!!

i've actually thought of this same thing myself, and i think i'd get the Bright Eyes lyric:

"You should never be embarassed by your trouble with living, because it's the ones with the sorest throats that have done the most singing."

that's actually my favorite song lyric ever, it's just....perfect. that's why i love conor oberst!

That dude can turn a phrase, thats FOR SURE.
100% cliche free.

I love the idea as a song lyric for a tattoo. Its ideal to me, in fact. I believe wholeheartedly in words, and the words of certain others often mean more to us than anything we ourselves could EVER say.

For me, I'd get something Springsteen related. He's a prophet to me. I guess you could say "Badlands" is my gospel.
Anything from that song, really.
