So I have credit from coach... what to get!

And yes, Coach will listen. I have bought from them since the time they sold by catalog and phone only and they have always listened to their reasonable customers.

Why do you think they have started banning some of the more prominent ebay sellers? I know that I, for one, got sick of trying to purchase more limited items, just to find out they could only be found on ebay, because many of the outlet stores were letting resellers buy in bulk. That battle took more than a couple of years, but they are finally doing something about it.

Katrynar don't you understand what you are dealing with here? It's called a TROLL. The sole purpose of these posts is to make you upset. This person doesn't give a rat's behind about ethics or Coach. When you argue with a TROLL you are feeding it-giving it what it wants. Now, understanding this should make you STOP posting responses. You did nothing wrong. Coach employees not only did nothing wrong, they did the ONLY ethical thing possible-they gave you the replacement value back for a defective bag. Don't even look at this issue again and be happy knowing you have a gorgeous bag in it's way to you.
 
btw, reselling is a VERY different issue. that has been discussed and there was an agreement that buying during pce or in bulk at outlets for the purpose of reselling was indeed deceitful.

but this is NOT a reseller. this is ONE person who got a credit back for a defective bag. there is a very big difference, and i'm sure coach would agree.

Thanks LI Blue! I never knew what a troll was... i dont use message boards often! this is the only one (besides a natural hair care board, but that is for tips usually not for any advice)

Giggle. I think it's funny how this person is attacking me. And insulting Coach but at the same time asking them to do something for him, by persecuting you. I'm actually giggling. At my desk. People are staring. But this is just funny. I hope a mod closes this thread. No offense to you, Kat. Maybe it should stay up though so everyone can see a fine example of what not to do on tpf and how not to treat people :wlae:
 
i guess he/she has nothing better to do than to have vendettas against people getting discounts!! i mean i only own 3 bags... this is the first time i ve had a problem with a coach bag. they give me credit, she/he has a problem with it because he/she doesnt get discounts her/himself... that is so sad

Meh. I can't agree with him because that'd be disagreeing with good customer service, which is what you got. If we don't have the bag that you have that's defective, we have to offer you a fair replacement, which, by Coach's high standards of customer service, usually means we'll sweeten the pot because of the inconvenience to you. We want to make sure you come back, and we'll go the extra mile to keep your business. That's good customer service and that's Coach and I rest my case. I'm going back to sniffing my perfume solid now. :heart:
 
Wow, after reading this thread and my heart pounding like crazy....was all of this really over a bag? Please, there are things far more serious that could use "ethical" thinking in the world. I had to catch up, too much drama over someone who is obviously unhappy w/ themselves and have to take it out on others. what is that saying?....misery loves company.
