Thank you!!! that person is such a @$$hole!!! It's an even exchange!! Both bags are 398!!! AND THE ITEM WAS DEFECTIVE!!! Does that person even know what PCE is??? I could have gotten the Carly during PCE and paid the same thing!!! Stuff like that gets me so mad! :cursing: just ruins your day you know!!

i fail to see how this costs customers!!! how is this person paying for the bag? I don't get it!! :(

That Carly would not/was not part of the PCE event, so that nonsense won't fly either.

FALSE! The carly was part of the PCE!! PLenty of people got it during that time!!! Do your research before you come here with that mess!!!

the question is how old are YOU! to come on here and denigrate me!!! and waste your time posting on my thread or trying to ruin someone's day! If you were a lawyer you would think about your actions... you would think hmmm let me do research on that matter before i come on here and diss somebody for no reason!

I Hope you direct this post to them as well!! I have been posting here for a while and people KNOW that i got the item from coach, and that they couldnt fix it!! They know their policy!! I am in the system!! Like I said, even exchange!! I am not selling the carly or selling the credit! I am an honest coach buyer!!

what happened here is a mistake and katrynar just happened to benefit.

i am quite sure coach is aware of this supposed loophole. how could they not be? and if it was truly deemed as a problem, coach would do look ups before issuing these credits back.

but like she said, she is doing an EVEN exchange. end of story, what's problem? would it be unethical for me to buy a bag during pce, only to exchange it later for something else that was excluded? that's a "loophole" and perfectly acceptable.

I don't know how you operate, but I hope that when I make a mistake that someone else might "benefit" from, that they have the decency to tell me.

It isn't an even exchange. PCE events do have exclusions. And that is for a reason. Regardless of that, when I return something, I only expect to get back what I paid. Keeping anything after that is smarmy.

You are stealing from Coach, in the same way a shoplifter does. That costs every consumer money. Didn't your parents teach you this stuff?

Why, regardless of what Coach sent you, would you keep money that was not rightfully yours? Who cares if they made a mistake or you found a loophole??

CARLYS WERE NOT AN EXCLUSION DURING PCE. Only Ergo and Fragrance!!! A couple of people here got the Carly during PCE. DO a search about the PCE. Many people were directed BY MANAGERS to work with that loophole... to get an item of the same price and exchange it later on!

julesy, it's one thing to have this happen between friends or something, but coach isnt just your best friend that you can call up on friday night to tell them what was going on, you know? just chill out.

i was allowed to exchange pce items for non-pce items later. so, technically, you say that's wrong? well, the manager told me to do that. but by your definition, that would be wrong.

Why do you keep saying I got money back??? I never got cash or a check! I got to BUY ANOTHER BAG THAT COST THE SAME AS THE BAG I GAVE IN THAT WAS DEFECTIVE!!! Do you know how to read?

Coach managers actually suggested, during PCE, that for items that were not included, that the customer buy something of equal value (at 25% off) and exchange it later for the item that was not included in PCE. Not only is Katrynar doing that, but she actually had a defective bag and really liked the first one!

Maybe you should direct your anger toward
executives in their NYC offices on W 34th Street.

Exactly! they dont even have any more of the same bag I wanted/returned because it was defective!!!! not in black, not in white, not in whiskey! that is an even exchange!!! law of retail trumps supposed law of "ethics"
