Large Kahki saddle Carly - it's a year round bag - goes with everything AND it is already the color of dirt!!! :smile1: I love mine and have already got lots of compliments on it - and I hardly see anyone with one -which is nice.

I JUST ORDERED!...... a LARGE CARLY IN KHAKI/CHAMBRAY!!!! it was the last one available at the distribution center!!!!!! i m soooo excited!!!!!!!!! if they dont have it, i m getting a regular carly in khaki/chambray, which they actually have a few of available to order over the phone (she told me)

plus i found my dalia sneakers!!! i called coach in florida at aventura mall!!!!!

they gave me 400 back even though i got it during PCE

So you got a credit for more $ than you spent and you think this is OK? You all think this is ethical and something to celebrate about? I've no doubt you didn't tell them the bag didn't cost full price.

I see this as stealing - taking something that is not yours. Are any of the folks in this thread Coach employees - is this OK by you, as well? Is Coach aware of this loophole? I imagine this type of deceit costs all of their customers money.

If Coach wasn't aware, you better believe they will be now...

(shame on Coach employees for not speaking up)

It is definately not deceit!!! They should know that I got it during PCE, I said it in the email!!! plus they are not giving me CASH they are giving me the credit that the bag cost!!! so technically I am getting my Carly for 25% off so it s an even exchange!!!!

what a horrible thing to say to me! you don't even know me!!!

this post has been up for days and nobody said anything because they KNOW about things!!! I detest when somebody comes on here think they know everything and just does crap like that!!!

it's not stealing if coach willingly gave her that amount back. she sent in a bag for repair and coach couldn't do it, so they sent a credit. they obviously had no problem with giving her the full amount.

it is VERY different is someone were to buy something during pce and then return it without a receipt for the full amount and get a credit for that. that is INTENT to deceive. what happened here is a mistake and katrynar just happened to benefit.

i am quite sure coach is aware of this supposed loophole. how could they not be? and if it was truly deemed as a problem, coach would do look ups before issuing these credits back.

but like she said, she is doing an EVEN exchange. end of story, what's problem? would it be unethical for me to buy a bag during pce, only to exchange it later for something else that was excluded? that's a "loophole" and perfectly acceptable.

i think we should all leave issues of repairs and credits up to coach and stop reducing it down to a lack of ethics.

Spin it how you want. You received more money back than what you spent. That is duplicitous. That Carly would not/was not part of the PCE event, so that nonsense won't fly either.

Oh, and I know lots of stuff. I know about ethics and paying for the things I want. I know Coach and have been a customer for 15+ years. I also know executives in their NYC offices on W 34th Street.

Again, I would like to hear from posters here who work for Coach...is this type of practice accepted?
