Michael Kors Signature Bags

Interesting question. This question has also come up from time to time over on the coach forum as well.

Personally, I'm not in to signature bags regardless of the brand. I seem to prefer leather or Saffiano. But for some reason I am drawn to the MK mono print in both the brown and vanilla. I find the mono is not in your face and I like the vanilla and the brown colors.

Heck, I just scored a vanilla mono jet set tote today for 40% off at Belk today and I'm just as excited about that as I am about the luggage and summer blue Hamiltons I recently got.

I think the bottom line is to buy what you love and what you can afford. You're the one who has to carry the bag. (That is a general statement, not directed at any one person)

Your brown mono Hamilton is one of the bags that changed my mind about MK mono. I saw a lady carrying it recently and I kept thinking how pretty it was...... :smile1:

It makes a difference sometimes to see a bag IRL being carried, as opposed to just sitting on a shelf. At least it does for me.

I really like the color of the brown mono with the contrasting leather trim and handles on my Hamilton. And I just like the lightness of the vanilla mono - and the contrast with the leather handles.

Like I said, this is a departure for me because I prefer my bags to be more subtle as to the brand - but that's just my personal preference.

I really like that signature Hamilton and I will purchase it when I can afford it! "afford" being the operative word! I've got a list, but I'm only buying what I can afford. Lol

I don't think the bags really represent ghetto trash people because I've seen them on snobby people before. But I'm saying elitist people might. I on the other hand am not a fan that's all.

Regarding all the comments about MK copying LV designs I find it funny that the MK bags almost always turn out better! Feet and compartments in the Grayson, great colors, awesome price points, etc. Kors just takes the "clay" so to speak and turns out a better product imho.

I love monogram bags. Just purchased my 1st monogram Coach bag this past Saturday. I purchase a bag based on if I like it not who designed it. Love MK bags and I just found out the difference in the line. So I guess I couldn't be considered a purse snob (LOL)

We need to think outside the perspective about logo bags.there are many people who likes logo bags out there,i admitted that some people who starts to jump to designer bags would like to have logo bags so they can be noticed but also many people who truly appreciate logo bags, chanel cc logos,or gst/cambon tote,or classic monogram lv /gucci or goyard.those are high end pieces.they found that to be classic and pretty, like nicky hilton for example.she got tons of non logo bags but she always said that she was and sti a huge fan of monogram bags and she loves to collect everything monogram that has logo pattern all over the goods.about MK,people dislike the monogram just because MK copied LV,but the leather bags seems awesome(selma?)anyway just my 2 cents

I'm not a fan of the monogram, but I'm not going to put somebody down. I bought one for my mom. She loves it. I go off of quality. Not brand. Usually when I wear my Mark Cross, people don't know the brand or that it costs a lot or not.. They just know it's green and looks like a lunch box. haha! I have an LV speedy and I never wear it. I just feel like what I'm usually wearing doesn't go with it or monogram. Different women, different closets.

I just got the signature vanilla E/W tote and siggy wallet. I don't know if it's childish, but I love it! ❤️

I think the MK logo item bags in vanilla and brown are big hits. I just got the logo tote in vanilla and really love it...so I am a bit biased :), but I don't think it is childish. The bag is the perfect size for me. It is well constructed, has so many pockets, a huge inside zipper, adjustable straps. It's really a great value for the price.

While I love my premier designer bags, I know that just because a bag is from a premier designer doesn't mean it's stylish or necessarily of good quality. On the other hand, just because a bag is from a contemporary designer doesn't mean it can't be both stylish and offer great value. Also I don't make distinction between logo bags and non- logo bags. Sometimes, I think logos look nice on a bag, sometimes they don't...it really depends on the bag. Be confident in what you like, and it will look good on you.

I love my mk vanilla logo purse, this purse i haved it for the last 3 and half years. Recently the handles got wear and tear and i just emailed mk and they sent me a new handle and looks like new again. i used this 5 days a week without trying to look after it and it still looks good as new. Its the only purse that hold up really well compare to my other purses.

I say enjoy your new signature purse!
