There are facts, backed by real evidence, and then there's your perception of reality, which isn't.
I'm fortunate to live in a nice area where I see all kinds of people carrying many different brands and styles without fear of judgment. I'm glad to have gotten nothing but compliments on my "blingy, tacky, cheap, and ghetto" Hamilton bags

The Hamilton is one of his most popular bags, so I think that tells you something right there! I don't have one yet, but plan to one day! 😁

+ 1. Where I live is the same, I've said it before, to judge someone on the brand or style they carry is wrong in many ways. I carry an MK vanilla monogram bag (bought at Macy's) and I'm not trashy and anyone that knows me knows I'm not trashy, so if I would happen to go into a community where they label people on the bag they are carrying, their issues, not mine!

I think what's going on here is less of a fashion/style problem and more of an exclusivity issue. Contemporary brands like MK are more accessible because they are more affordable compared to "premier" brands. So if you're a judgmental person that looks down on others based on what they can and cannot afford, then you certainly wouldn't want to be carrying the same bags that the people you judge are carrying.
I get it. I don't agree with it and I'm disgusted by people with that mentality, but it's out there and it's certainly on this forum. But I don't share that mindset so it isn't my problem and it's not yours either!

I view sig and mono bags the same regardless of brand. If someone dislikes obvious branding, then how is it any different if the monogram print is on a premier designer bag?

Personally, sig isnt my favorite since I like to be low-key as I can, but i do own 2 sig Coach bags. I said I would never own a sig bag and guess what--I found some prints that appealed to me.

And calling sig bags "ghetto" is beyond ridiculous.

Buy what you like and ignore the judgemental people you probably wouldn't want to associate with anyway.

Exactly!

there should be a matching tote too. Also it come in dark tiger print vs the vanilla tiger

They didn't have the tote when I was at Belk, but it doesn't matter because I wouldn't have bought it. To me the wallet was just enough contrast to make me happy. I don't like completely matching, but I do like to have the same designs

Even though this is just your opinion, use of the words, "tacky, ghetto, cheap" to refer to a group of people says a lot about you.......
I don't know why people thought I was judging them, I'm judging the BAGS. I don't have to like everybody's bags to please you guys. The form doesn't work like that. It's just not my personal taste and I'm free to point it out. In fact I didn't like my best friend shirt the other day, did I broke up the friendship? No, it's just a shirt, she can get over it. So it's just a bag, get over it.

"Tacky, ghetto and cheap" are what 90% of the professional stylists would say also. People like Anna Wintour might be like that and so are other rich people. Even if a siggy bag is 100000 bajillion dollars it wouldn't change their opinion.

My reason of why I WOULDNT get those bags is because I never liked them, I'm not a letter-pattern person, not because I'm rich and snobby. (Lol wish I was rich actually)

I was just suggesting an answer to your initial post on why people would think like that. Sorry if you got offended :l
