Well, Swanky,(and others) I know that prob most of you can use them for longer, but I happen to have Stick straight eyelashesthat basically shoot downward, you can picture an elephant's eyelashes, that's what mine are like.....genetically, I was lucky when it came to having good skin, but eyelashes- nope- i've even permed them in the past. If I was stranded on a desert island, my one product would be my eyelash curler each Shu curler comes with one extra pad, but talexes is correct, after awhile, they just dont curl the same:sad:

I use my eyelash curler for maybe 5 yrs. now, everyday, sometimes 2x a day and she's still so good as new!! Of course I cleam the pads every now and then. If I can remember, I got an extra pair of pads when I bought it. I will look one of these days, if I can find them. Their brushes are great too, I have those. It's a very good product.

I noticed that I RARELY see advertising from this brand, not much in way of promotions. If they promoted it half as much as they did L'Oreal, I doubt they would be having this problem.

They've just opened new counters in Holts Toronto and Vancouver very recently so we are hoping they don't leave Canada. They came to Canada about 5 years ago and didn't stay very long but they returned, so fingers crossed that they don't leave.

I think Shu's business is still strong outside the US, so that's good for the rest of us.
Their brushes are second to none.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO! I guess the standalone store in South Coast Plaza will be gone too!! I need to stock up on eyelashes, eyelash curler, foundation, and lip gloss!! :shocked::shocked:

i am already making a list of things to buy...

lashes, hard formula eyebrow pencils, i need to buy some brushes to try them out.. (any recommendations of which brushes to buy?).
