I’m so bummed. I noticed a huge scratch on my gourmette bracelet and not sure how I even got it! Does anyone have any luck getting out scratches on their fine jewelry ? Any products, or can a local jeweler help?

On another note, I picked up the farandole bracelet from my lovely SA

@spidermann congratulations on your lovely bracelet  Unfortunately scratches are inevitable. A polishing cloth will do. I've been using my Tiffany silver polish cloth on my rose gold H D'Ancre bracelet. Also, you can try Amazon to order one. That's what a jeweller would do. A good friend of ours is a jeweller and he advised I do this. Here is another tip he gave me: to get your jewelery sparkling clean (like they do it) put boiled water in a bowl with dish soap and brush with the tooth brush. Your jewlery and diamonds will really come out sparkling clean.

I use an ultrasonic machine to clean jewelry. I find that toothbrushes, even with super soft bristles tend to leave microscopic scratches on jewelry during the cleaning process.
Wow I’ve never heard of that. Where did you get that? With my failing eyesight my eyes cannot see any scratches after cleaning lol but the OCD in me would love that machine

I'm not the one you asked but I also have one that I got at my hardware/home improvement store so you should be able to find one in a store of that ilk. I know they exist on amazon as well. I paid perhaps about the equivalent of 40~ USD for mine and it works fine.

I know others have said that scratches are natural (which they obviously are) and even suggested to use a polishing cloth but to me that scratch looks very much "dentlike" and like it's not going to go away with a mere cloth, I would personally suggest going to Hermes to ask them about polishing/ fixing it for you. You could of course do that at any jeweller but if Hermes found out I doubt they'd be willing to work on it in the future if there is any problems

In the last 7 years I have been shopping at Hermes, I have never seen a YG pave CDC bracelet. My friend has a plain YG CDC bracelet and I had previously seen that style available on the H website too. Most of my bracelets are YG and I prefer it over RG but I did end up purchasing the half pave CDC in rose gold. I had debated between the half pave CDC and the CDC with less diamonds (only pave on the 2 spikes) and ended up with the half pave. Although I do notice the difference in color between my RG pave CDC and other YG bracelets, I don’t think the difference is as noticeable as it would be if compared to the RG CDC with less pave as there is more surface area with pave and less plain metal. I tend to notice the sparkle of the diamonds rather than focus on the difference in gold color. Hope this picture helps. I was trying on a YG Messika bracelet with my stack. The other bracelets are all yellow gold - the CDC is the only RG bracelet.

Lovely stack. What brand/style is the first bracelet with pave and spikes?

Did some fine jewelry shopping today. The first WG necklace from H since I figured I might as well get one from the finesse series (for which I have also the earrings in WG, then the earrings and the pendant - but not lariat version - in RG) to complete things.

But also, saw the new yellow gold Chaine d'ancre Danae earrings which I was curious about. I did not realize the bottom dangly part is actually soft! So it swings and moves and I couldn’t say no. Also I’m happy H is making yellow gold pieces.

A mod shot (excuse blurry quality) because I know they have not uploaded one to hermes.com so hopefully this helps others who are wondering!
