thank you very much for your insights. very helpful indeed. and thanks for reminding me about the slimmer width - something I have not taken into consideration yet.
I do see the point on building a profile which I fortunately do not need to do anymore at my Hermès store. I like the fact on Hermès fine jewellery that that at least some of the pieces are not as easily recognisable as some of the pieces you are mentioning above. And at least when I scroll through Insta, everybody seems to have a Cartier love bracelet or JUC these days...not saying that these pieces are not very nice as well.
Yep! There’s a reason I have a stack of 3 rose and white gold CDCs instead of a stack of Loves. I do have a JuC in the mix
The gold bracelets are much more delicate. I’m always surprised when I first take them out of the box.

Haven’t taken them off since i got them!

Beautiful! I am curious how long the rhodium plating will last on both the cartier and Hermes bangles. I would love to add wg but the ones I see in the second hand market don’t normally look good. I don’t plan to buy preloved but I look at the market sometimes to see wear and tear on items I’m interested in.

I have been eyeing some new farandole items. Does anyone know if this lint is part of the regular collection? Any word on whether certain items and gold varieties might be discontinued? Also love this bracelet but it’s a toggle closure. Wonder how secure it is and whether H would change it or add a lobster clasp for more security? IMG_9722.jpeg

I have the regular Farandole bracelet in silver and personally I have found the toggle closure to be very safe. I doubt that Hermès is willing to change to another closure as it's part of the iconic look of the Farandole

Wow - this is a super super nice stack. Would be my dream. Maybe now it's s good time to start it?

How long have you had the bracelets for? Do you think they scratch easily?
Thank you!! Yes, it’s never a bad idea to start haha.

I believe i purchased one in September and the other in October of last year! They’re definitely lightly scratched from daily use but it doesn’t bother me personally! They’re still shiny and sparkly regardless of the scratches :)

Actually my SA transferred this piece in for me, can’t wait to pick it up! I much prefer toggle over lobster clasp as I have a VERY hard time getting the bracelet on and off by myself with lobster clasp and DH is not very willing to help me.

THIS! H lobster clasps on bracelets are impossible. It takes me a solid five minutes to get the Filet d'Or bracelet on  I am planning on adding a Chaine d'Ancre bracelet (the classic one in the heavier version) as those are so much easier!

I don’t have an issue with a lobster clasp. There are lots of helpful hints on the internet on how to quickly and easily get a bracelet on with a lobster clasp. I typically use tape or a paper clip.https://www.wikihow.com/Put-a-Bracelet-on-by-Yourself. The question asked was whether the bracelet is secure. If this toggle bar is long enough it’s likely to be more secure.

It also depends on how tight you want your bracelet to fit. I ordered in SH size and its pretty snug, a bit difficult to get on but not as hard as a lobster clasp. There is absolutely no way the toggle bar will slip through and become undone. But if you prefer your bracelets looser then I suppose there is more of a possibility it can happen.

My sister and I visited the boutique today and she picked up the Kelly chaine choker to match your bracelet. I am in love with this Chaine D’Ancre necklace. It’ll be mine soon!
