OMG, did I go wild today!
But first is the Classic Duffle I bought at Savers a week or two ago. It was in excellent condition and really only needed dusting off.
The next few I bought at Goodwill today. The first is a miniature duffle. It's in quite good condition, and will need just a little attention. The next one I don't know the name of it, but it's a zip top cross body in either navy or black with an outside pocket and inside has a pocket with a zipper. It will need some TLC, and the strap is a little worn. I'll have to figure out something. The next one is a handbag that is like a miniature briefcase. I've shown its model no./serial no. It's glued on like the Basic Bag I rehabbed. So I guess this bag is at least as old as that one, which I bought around 1983 or so. It's unusual and I'm looking forward to using it. I think my ipad might fit inside. I also bought a Coach briefcase that is in practically new condition with outside pockets on both sides. It even has some Coach paperwork inside. For some reason my picture wouldn't size down so I can't show it.
Great bags!

Love them - great finds! That Classic Duffle looks a lot like a Cashin for Meyers bag I found recently. Congrats on the score! I really wish we had a Savers in my neck of the woods (though my wallet and DH are probably relieved that there's not!).

I have looking for this bag for a long time. I have been outbid on every one until now. It is outrageous the prices this style is going for on ebay - $175 to $250, at least in the nicer colors. I put in a bid on this one before I went out of town and I was surprised to find out I had won it. As an added bonus, it is in great condition, which is amazing since the seller squished it into a mailing envelope.

I just got one these too, bag twins! Mine was a great price because it has a broken zipper, so she has to go visit the cobbler. I really love the bag!

Wow - I love this! Awesome find, and woo hoo on it being in great condition! Drat...now I want one (though I don't wanna pay $250 for it!).

Congrats! My Gramercy satchel was squished into a flattish box too, so annoying, especially since it's not as flexible as regular Coach leather!

yeah mine has a couple of "bent" fold lines that aren't horribly obvious but makes me sad. I don't know that dunking it fixes it on this type of bag

I almost bid on that one if it's the one I am thinking of!! Lucky you!!
I got this one off etsy :) Called my cobbler before I bought it just to make sure it would be worth it. Now that it is here, I LOVE it!

I have been wondering what I am going to do with my Madison Regis that was practically folded in half to go into a too small box for shipping. It has a crease right across the front, the whole way.

Mine was $65, which includes shipping. There was a navy one I missed out on a few months ago that had a buy it now for about the same price. No one else bid.

That is a good reference then. With the broken zipper I got mine for $33 with shipping. She is in good shape and will just need conditioning :smile1:
That's a good deal. How much will it cost to replace the zipper? I just did my first sewing repair on a purse and it was difficult. Even though I am experienced at sewing, I wouldn't attempt to do a zipper myself.

So I was wondering - what do you think about putting one of the new tassels on this purse? I have the red ones from my colorblock but I am afraid that if I untie them, I won't figure out how to retie them.
