Here's my new LOVELY bucket bag. This one seems to be kind of rare because I've checked my Terapeak sales records as far back as it goes ( 1 year) and can only find this style # listed maybe twice. I love this bag. Its the Sheridan Sheffield bucket. --Just needs a little lining clean up and some surface conditioning/touch up for scuffs. I'm so happy the original hangtag is still on her.

Actually Bobby Darin is a bit ancient even for me, but I remembered that my oldest sister had that album and used to play it all the time so I decided to pick it up because I love "Beyond the Sea."

The only affordable thrift chain in my area does not allow returns. It's why Ive gotten burned on so many great fakes! I try to check them out on my smart phone while in the store, but there's only so much you can do in a really short period of time and I have to trust my instincts. Lately, my instincts are MUCH BETTER and all I've learned from Hyacinth and her written guides has helped immensely. But I'm going to start harrassing the owners of this chain to allow some exchange/returns or instore credit..ANYTHING would help

I've printed out Hyacinth's guide and I try to carry it in my purse at all times, it has been very helpful!

Awesome!! Thank you! I don't know the area 100% well yet, so the first one is awesome with the map! None of them are close to me though ughh! It seems like all the thrift places are outside the city centre...I wish I had use of a car some days because transit isn't always the greatest at getting me close to some of these areas. Guess I will have to map out and make a weekend of it and hit the places that I know transit runs LOL!

Congrats! I love my little Sheridan "not a Willis" Monticello. It's very well made and different. Have you gotten her yet? Let me know if you come up with a good way to clean up the "scuffs" on the "AWL".

Beautiful! I have a green sheridan glenwood bag and it was filthy so I had to give it a bath, but it came out fine.

One time at the Savers I was picking up some older CDs at a cheap price on a Tuesday. When I got to the checkout line the SA diplomatically said to me "Just to let you know that Tuesday is Seniors Day and customers that are 55 and older get a 25% discount on all their purchases. I just wanted to let you know in case you know somebody like that - someone 55 or older - so that you could tell them about the discount!"

I just laughed and said "Yes, I am 55 or older and I would be happy to accept the discount, and thank you for telling me so nicely that I look old!"

She immediately said "Oh, you don't look old! I just mentioned it because of this!" And she held up one of the CDs that I was buying, The Bobby Darin Story!

I said "Really! I've been outed by Bobby Darin?! I will have to be more careful with my selections in the future!"

She just looked a bit confused.

Ugh, if musical tastes dictated our ages, I could be confused for anywhere between 10 and 100 years old.

I absolutely LOVE giggling over coffee and tpf every morning..."outed by Bobby Darin" brought tears to my eyes...LOLOLOLOL! Getting older is much easier when you live in Florida...most of the time I feel like a teenager again!

I'll bet you do! I have to fight my way through commuter crowds in Chicago everyday and it makes me feel kind of old!
