I sometimes have "blue" and it's usually a combo of outside light quality, and needing a warmer setting on the camera. Unfortunately some small digitals don't give you enough options on settings. Mine is a Canon G10 with a nice large sensor inside of it, and its pretty detailed for being a smaller point and shoot style. My husband is a professional photographer...I am NOT...but his knowledge may occasionally "leach" into my brain and that helps too.

I just have to share this. I think this could be my HG! Poorly listed ebay jade hailey new without tags for $100. This may be the most beautiful color ever!

Beautiful! I think I looked at that listing and decided I better not, and hit the back button. So happy you got it-I LOVE that color!

LOL-my parents were both professional photofinishers and amateur photographers. I know way too much about photography but it exhausts me so I don't even own a digital camera right now. OK, so I bought my husband a pretty nice one a few years ago, so there's one in the family, but I still use my iPhone 3G most of the time.

It was a risk. There are plenty that I have bid on that didn't turn out so wonderful! The only way you get the good deals is if you take the chance though. This one had an auction starting at $75 and I considered doing that but then I figured that someone else might also figure out that it was jade or the seller would put up better photos, and then I would be kicking myself.

I hear ya. I worked as a photo finisher for over 15 years. That's where I met my photographer hubby! I don't really like the camera side of it as much...I prefer to just grab a quick shot and go...none of that messing around with meters and lens changes, etc. Digital cameras are great, though they are the reason my job became obsolete, sadly

Well...I found this beauty, and couldn't pass it up. It looks so luxurious in that colour especially. I hope my LV delightful doesn't take a back seat for this one. yikes. I think this is called the exotic python Maggie, and I got her for $ 200 shipped. It was used once! even the tissue paper is still in it! :)

That's how my parents met each other...the cool thing was they worked in a professional lab that did all the high grade work for photographers-during photography's "heyday" late 50's-and my mom probably worked there through the mid 90's-off and on. Somewhat interesting work and they met a lot of interesting people.

Photo development chemicals smell like "home" to me. lol
