Sorry the lighting is not the best - and I'm not sure this counts as Exceptional - well - compared to some! But think it's exceptionally beautiful! The indigo collection Brazil Bandhini! 3000 beads over the initial print are hand knotted and removed to give it it's unique over dyed effect. The indigo it is dyed in actually changes the texture of the silk - it is heavenly - so soft but saturated feeling. I can't describe it! :)
ferrip - I'm speechless- this scarf is gorgeous. Do you have a mod shot?

Wow! All these scarves are gorgeous!!!:love::love: I'm just slowly catching up on all the threads after my holidays and finally got to this one. I'm so amazed by these work of arts. The Pegasus is beyond spectacular and the other ones are just as fabulous. Thanks for sharing! :D

IMO compared to the cost of the other embroidered exceptional scarves this is a relative bargain - the silk is a rich cream color- it has a lightweight hand and the embroidery allows you to wear it with anything- from jeans to dresses- or suits
I myself love the quadridge pattern as it was the pattern of the first Hermes scarf I ever bought- I have this pattern in several formats
This is a very limited scarf- I'm not sure there are any left in USA? Did your SA locate one?
If you see one or can get one I would recommend it- if you want a really unique scarf or are a collector
I think the Mythiques Phoenix exceptional scarf is about 6K- it is a GM but still ...
So in comparison this one seems like a steal ( haha- in Hermes terms anyway)
Honestly I was surprised it wasn't more expensive ---so was my SA--

Thank you for your help on this scarf TankerToad, my SM said she could still get one in for me to see but I was just so unsure as I thought some of the areas was not embroidered but silk printed, but now I know everywhere is embroidered I will try and get to see it now thank you

No printing
All embroidery - and it is a raw silk-not twill
So it feels more "organic" more unique and natural almost
Once you see it I think you will be impressed
It's very light- easy to wear
