I`ve really loved reading through this post! Am I the only one who would be thrilled even to have one of those special boxes?:D

The boxes are part of the mystique I think. The box to thequadridge is massive. The box to some of the more expensive scarves even can be rosewood with special linings.



Agree the box makes one feel like you are opening a special gift or some jewelry~but they also make storing these treasured scarves fun.
They are meant to be heirlooms....
 
Oddly enough one of my very first H items I ever bought was this Twilly Precieux. It is really impossible to wear as the beading gets caught in the scarf ring and instead I use it to to decorate my bags instead. It rarely gets used but as it was my first H item, I have a special attachment and can't let it go just quite yet.

I found out the price - $4,900 :crybaby: I shall love it in my dreams, or vicariously through one of you lovely ladies who might have it/find it. I'm not sure how many were produced or if any are still available?
