Have you tried it - and then not decided to get it…? Then you probably had a good reason, right? - I tried it and though really cute, the red on red beaded hearts have not been well visible when tied and the whole scarf was too flimsy. At least on my long neck… So, please don‘t be too sad. ❤️

Thank you, and you make such a good point, @Sammy Royal - but I never actually was able to try it. My store didn't have it, so my SA said she could bring it in for me from another boutique, but I was worried about the price! Once I decided to go ahead, I had hesitated too long. So maybe it doesn't actually work for me!

Way back in 2019 I posted closeups of the embroidery on my Pegasus shawl. Post #372. I never did figure out a way to wear it so I finally framed it. I do tend to procrastinate Apologies for the reflection of the light fixture. I have it hanging in my home office and can admire the embroidery every day instead of it being tucked away in a drawer.

I was in Paris recently and visited the store on Rue de Sevres. They had several exceptional pieces on display so thought I’d share. Apologies for the white dots on some photos they’re from the lights bouncing off the glass case.















I also picked up a Charme d’Orphee in
black and white. Will post a photo of that later. I’m a bit obsessed with that scarf and might get it in blue and caramel as well but stuck to one for the moment to see if my interest dies down as I’m also keen on the Otto Botanico in blue and Tulipomanie triangle!

I meant to post this the other day, to the comments re RTW pricing -
In the exceptional scarves series, this cashmere shawl, appliqué is suede
It is very nicely done especially with the collar. It’s supposed to be this FW as SA said it’s new in.
Anyhoo, the price is discouraging - $8000 and for me terrible cost per wear as it will be a limited use piece - evening cover up for Northern CA winter and maybe fall weather travel. It’s not really usable as a day wear piece imo.
