Cross picture which was requested in the OOTD thread-me wearing the bespoke Japanese Calf Wearwolf jacket, which I had made in 2019.
It’s the most worn of my 5 biker jackets, but I’m hooked, and already planning a 6th next year-possibly another bespoke one..the weather in the U.K. seems to have evened out enough to be able to wear them for several months a year now..
One of my friends wants to buy my Calvin Klein quilted jacket -freeing a hanger, although she hinted she wanted a biker..I’ve just realised she wants one of mine..which are definitely Not for sale lol!

Hi everyone. I have two leather jackets. 1 is from Top Shop Boutique (which I mentioned quite a few pages back). This jacket has the most amazing black leather...it is made in the UK and it's very 80's in style. I got it from Nordstrom a few years ago on sale. I think it was originally $600 or so. The leather is very thick yet supple...the quality can rival much more expensive jackets. It has a removable shearing collar, which I took off, and it has shearling on the cuffs (not removable). My other jacket is a vintage men's XX Tall (medium) Eddie Bauer Journeyman bomber in dark brown (could pass for black). This leather is so buttery soft as well. I took some closeups of the two leathers next to each other so you can see. I wanted a bomber that would be long enough to cover my butt-lol. I was looking for a dupe of the Tibi bomber jacket, which is $1700. I paid $100 for this one. I looked at so many bomber jackets before I found this one that had the leather band (not cotton) and leather cuffs, pointed collar...everything leather. I didn't want the typical bomber with the material around the cuffs/collar/waist. I literally looked at 100's of jackets before finding this one. Someday I'll get the Tibi one....maybe I'll find one on TRR...but for now I'm super happy with this one. Here they are:

I've been on the hunt for a leather jacket since I tried on a men's one at Buck Mason..but it was black and I prefer something lighter, and knew the "right" one would come up for me someday at a second-hand shop. And there is was today while I was dropping off consignment at a local vintage shop...a Mackage Hania in the perfect taupe grey, marked down twice to a fraction of MMSP!
