Sorry, forgot to mention. Necklace is pressed turquoise, while earrings and bracelet is Zachery treated Sleeping Beauty. Necklace and bracelet are sterling silver w/palladium and earrings are 14k. But I think it all goes together pretty well, do you agree?
BTW, I have always preferred turquoise set in white gold or sterling, and thought that anything else was too loud and "tacky", but just recently started to appreciate turquoise set in yellow gold. There's just something so cheerful and almost magnetic about the happy blue and warm yellow colors joined together in a harmonious jewelry piece. Yes, it is probably loud, but I am just so drawn to it. And what are your opinions ladies, do you prefer yellow or white metal setting as far as turquoise is concerned?

What a lovely set. I just recently bought a pair of 14k yellow gold & turquoise earrings & I've ordered a couple of 14k yellow gold with turquoise station necklaces. I thought they would be a nice light look for spring & summer. Plus I didn't have any turquoise in yellow metal. I'll post pics when I get them.

I love turquoise in white metals but have lately developed a fondness for it set in yellow gold. I have some modern turquoise jewelry set in white metals but most of my turquoise is NA turquoise jewelry set in Silver that I have collected over the years.

I love wearing my turquoise jewelry, especially in the summer when I have a bit of a tan. I've collected a number of pieces, predominately Navajo pieces, from the 60's, 70's and some from the 80's.

What a lovely set.
cdtracing thank you so much! This is by Michael Valitutti, I got each thing at a different time, but it does look like a set. I certainly wish I bought more of his stuff in 14k gold when it was available.
Yes, I enjoy both antique turquoise jewelry and modern turquoise jewelry and NA stuff set in SS. I think it's such a versatile stone. It looks gorgeous set in high carat gold or platinum with diamonds in haute joaillerie, and it looks magical when carved into one-of-a kind cameos by artisans, and it looks cheerful and exotic when it's set in tribal SS jewelry.
It's also my birthstone, so of course I am in love with it. :D

Now, if I were to add more earrings to this particular set, which ones do you think I should get:
1) cameos by Michael Valitutti
2) turquoise doublet earrings by Andrea Candela
3) turquoise earrings (not doublets) by Andrea Candela.
4) Just regular small 14k love knot (again, the question is: should I get 14k white gold or 14k yellow gold?).
And here are the pictures, so please help me choose::smile1: Thank you!

Yes, turquoise is very versatile gemstone. I have long been a fan of NA turquoise jewelry but I love antique Persian Turquoise pieces as well. Some of the couture pieces with diamonds are just stunning.

I'm currently looking for a very large single stone ring. I would like for it to be set in Sterling Silver, a very simple clean design but one set in yellow gold would work if the price is right. It's very hard to find the really huge single stone rings these days. I've been searching for about a year now but haven't found the right one yet. I'm sure one will turn up eventually. When it does, I'm ready to jump on it. :smile1:
