The two turquoise station necklaces came today so I decide to wear them today since it's warm & sunny. I paired them with a pair of 14k earrings with small turquoise on the ends that I picked up for a song at a local consignment shop earlier this week. The chains are 14k & the beads are stabilized turquoise. Not expensive & I thought it would be a light & airy look for Spring & Summer. Love the linear look of these earrings plus they're light & comfortable to wear. I hope the pictures post...still getting use to Windows 10 on the laptop.

the earrings and necklaces look great for Spr/Sum., very light and comfortable for the hot and humid climate of the South. very pretty.

here's my Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and diamond ring set in 14k yellow gold:
Beautiful ring. This is such a wonderful present! :smile1:

Looks very nice with your dress. :smile1:Do you know the diameter of turquoise beads? I love how the earrings have gold in them, this way the metal shows and doesn't get lost in your dark hair.

Thank you. I've just now gotten started with turquoise & yellow gold. The necklaces are graduated with stabilized turquoise beads. According to my jeweler, they range in size from 4mm to 8mm.

I do like that the gold catches the light in the earrings & don't get lost when I wear my hair down. I usually wear larger earrings unless I'm just wearing studs but these don't get lost in my hair. :graucho:

Beautiful ring.

Thanks, Sgj. They are light & very comfortable with is a huge plus here in Ga for the Spring & Summer months. They achieve the look I wanted.:smile1:

Yes, Houston is as bad as Ga with humidity. Like you, having lived in a humid climate all my life, you'd think I would be use to it but I don't think anyone gets use to it. I think you just learn to live with it. I hate having anything sticking to my skin. :nogood:

yet with all my complaining, i'd rather deal with our summer weather than the incredibly cold and such of northern climates. my husband is from Iowa and would drag me up there for Christmas every year when his parents were alive. during on blizzard i told him "my next husband will be from Miami."

:roflmfao: I'm right there with you! I'm a Southern Girl with thin Southern Blood. I couldn't live where it's freezing cold. I would hibernate like a bear & wouldn't be seen til Spring!

Thank you! :smile1:I was looking at Italian 14k station necklace with only 4 mm beads, but I am afraid it will be too small/petite for me, so I guess, not this time.
