Shouldn't take it personally but..hit buying limit?

The pastel Escale items are sooo beautiful! I'm a little bummed that I missed out on the pastel Mini Pochette.

I'm not sure if the limit is just a line they fed me? I called twice - once when I saw that the Escale pochette wasn't in my order list, and a second time. The first CA said that it happened just because the item was out of stock. Then I got an email saying they are "not able to accept" my order. That's when I called back again, and they said there's a limit of 4. (I have ordered 7 products in a week, many haven't even arrived yet... maybe it's the time frame.) I'm sure if I called a third time, I'd get a different answer.

It's no biggie, all things considered this is the epitome of a first world problem! I'll be patient and see what happens after the 30 day period passes.

You’re so right about that! I bet there are a list of reasons they might give (and you might be right about the orders being so close together, or the duplicate), but I’m betting no matter what if you give it a little time you’ll get your hands on that Mini!! I’ll cross my fingers for you!

It says 6 leather goods including slg's within a 4 week period. If you are ordering other items like scarves, bag charms you can but there is a total of 8 items of any kind in the 4 weeks. 12 leather goods in a 12 month period. There are other reasons orders are cancelled like a glitch in the system and showed it was available when it wasn't in stock or two people check out at almost the same time and it cancels. It's happened to me. I ordered a PA mono and after 20 days the order canceled automatically as they couldn't fulfil the order.

I was able to order 7 items last month no problem. I was able to order 2 more pieces on my husband's account- then attempted a few more (diff pieces) yesterday but all 3 got cancelled. First rep said it was due to all the transactions within a day that raised red flags. I attempted to order from husband's account again this morning- I'm crossing my fingers it doesn't get cancelled again.

Thank you! :) Looks like I’ve reached my SLG limit for a 4 week period, so I’ll be back on the hunt in a few weeks!

Hi everyone!

I have been obsessively stalking a few items that I’ve been after for a while. I’m a teacher, and teaching remotely means I spend many many hours a day online. I figured it would be the perfect time to snag a lot of those hard to find items. Apparently I was too good at this, because LV rejected my order this morning (for the Escale mini pochette... sooo beautiful). When I called to ask if I’ve been blocked, the rep said they only allow 4 purchases every 30 days, and that I’d be able to order again once an item drops off the count. (I ordered more than 4.)

Has this happened to anyone else? I feel like they’ve flagged me as suspicious... I hope I’ll be able to order again. Many of the things I’ve ordered are birthday gifts for family and friends.
I do honestly think it depends. I have heard from some folks that they have exceeded the purchase limits, but the average cost per transaction is much higher for these folks. At least anecdotally that's what I've noticed. Those that are purchasing a lot of SLGs with lower cost per transactions are getting flagged...

Hi guys,

just want to double check “with no more than 2 identical products per such transaction.” does this mean that we can buy 2 of the same items? But 2 is the limit of the same item? So for example can I if they are in stock buy 2 multi pochettes but each in a different colour? Has anyone tried this?

Hi everyone,

After making several online purchases due to product defects I have reached my purchase limit of 6 items. I didn’t want to exchange the items because I was afraid I might receive another defective product or worse, the exact same order that I would’ve sent back.

How long will it take for the program to reset so that I can purchase other items in my Louis Vuitton wish list? Will the reset date be based on the initial purchase date of the six items or the date of the last item I would have purchased?

I bought four key pouches. One is for me and rest of three are gift for my family. Also, I purchased PM mono and reverse (I dont know yet if I am going to keep two or keep one and return one back) So 6 items in a month.

Just now, I was trying to purchase toiletry 26, and as I pressed the last button to order, i got an email notification saying that the order was cancelled. Now I am thinking that’s what happened to me. Purchase limit...

btw. I am also working for school and doing remote learning. this whole work from home opened a LV door for me.

I believe it is every 30 days so I would monitor your order history dates which is easy to do online- when an item drops off (the date > 30 days) then you should be able to order something new. So that would mean the first purchase (oldest) would drop off the list of your 6 purchases clearing the way for a new purchase. If you bought multiple items on one day, that would allow you to buy that many more.

But I do not know for sure. Have you called CS and asked how they track how orders age and when you can make a new purchase? Sometimes I think LV makes up the rules as they go along. I was under the impression it was 4 not 6 items per 30 day period.

Thank you so much!!

I’ve called CC a few times and each time I’ve received a different response. Initially I was told that it would take 4 weeks for the purchase limit to reset. The second time a different CC told me that she was not aware of this purchase limit rule and finally the last CC I had spoken to told me the only way to make any purchases would be to go into an LV store near me (which is difficult and unsafe to do considering the pandemic going on).

My oldest purchase was made exactly one month ago. I had tried to make some online purchases earlier today (AM) but it didn’t go through. However, it might have been because my oldest purchase was made later on in the day (PM).

If the items in my wish list becomes available and I’m able to make a successful purchase, I will be posting an update

I returned an item last week which put my 30 day total back to 5 items. I tried to purchase a mp last night but it got canceled. My returned item still counted towards my 6 for the month. I’ll update when I am able to purchase again, or if the return should somehow no longer count against me.
