That was July.
Her personal FB page is FULL of recent photos of her and her family and there's no photos or mention of any lingering health issues.

wow. i cannot believe she went into that much detail about her "illness." to take the time to write all of that in such specific detail, she could have utilized that time by responding to her—to what i imagine—many emails and inquiries.

glad to know i am not directly involved in this mess, but i feel for the OP and others who are clearly victims of her deceit.

I think she has some kind of mental illness that maybe took over. She went from being a well known and respected TPF'er for years to not being able to keep on top of her business, charging customer's credit cards and not delivering merchandise, not answering calls and emails....and yet she has her business open, continues to buy items on ebay and she's posting bizzare photos of herself on facebook. I know she's funny, but she seems very off right now. Hopefully her family steps in or somebody does and helps her out.

ETA: Personally, if I bought anything from her and she didn't deliver or answer emails for a few months...I would probably call or email her husband and get some answers asap. If she's posting family photos on facebook, I would find some way to get a hold of her through her family and get some answers.

I have nothing to do with this particular site being discussed (nor will I now) just following this thread but Elana's explanation of absence on her FB page was from JULY 27th!! I think we all can understand OPs frustration and others that are waiting for a response or their money back......no matter the reason's behind the neglect of her business, it's curious that her website is currently up, running and taking orders:confused1::confused1:

Wow. I am shocked! How are people still sticking up for this woman? Its amazing all the excuses elana has given since may. First she had a death in the family. Then the flu. Then poison ivy. Then she was in the hospital but got out. Then she got sick again with colon issues.

What magical ilniss does she now have that allows her to talk on phone to purse forum members, update her website, post pics on her facebook and take money from others but does not let her send merchandise or reply to customers?

It's almost a joke. I am sorry but it is so obvious that this is all made up. Why doesn't
someone in her family come forward and stop her. I really feel like this is a mental
condition. However, the more I hear I just do not understand why nobody is stepping up
and helping/stopping her from all this ............

The member in question has been a long standing tPF member, so can we all leave the speculating out of the thread. There are some facts that are being posted - and you can post your comments/opinions - but there is some speculating that really will probably just help things spiral downhill.

I am in no way promoting what has happened - it is awful if someone paid and did not receive their item. Truly sad, especially since this is a member that used to have a great reputation here.
