Other than claim her children have been harassed (which would involve an answering machine or the phone to be picked up) did she shed any light on why she has not sent merchandise out or given refunds? Or about the discrepancies of any bills vs merchandise? Or how she is well enough to sell on ebay and chicken farm but not deal with THIS thread?

Because I assume that was asked by you in your email to her? Or was it simply "dear elana, I'm sorry you got caught. Are you ok?" Because that's the only way I see her responding to a random (and you say you are just a random) customer. Maybe shed some light on how YOU get responses from her so it can help gga and others resolve their issues.

Glad you found my post interesting, but there is no secret here, I had the same access as many members,I did not say than any of us, and less than the close IRL friends she had here.

Regarding the not charging for months statement, I tried to charge something in September and could not, cc's and paypal were disconnected by FF as per my call to paypal. Two days ago I tried again to see if CC's or paypal were on, they are not.

Her last post in the chicken forum as "MeettheFlockers" was 4 days ago on Nov. 16

Relevant to her current activity level: The blog also confirms that she is taking long trips by car for this hobby/business.

You have every right to ignore or not respond to me. But you of all people have been on a mission to keep this thread strictly factual. Even though there are many many people in this forum who didn't order and still feel like they were "taken" you have suggested and insinuated they have no rights to post.

I would think if you truely want to keep this thread as acurate and factual as possible and are not biased in any way you would have been more open.

I just don't understand why you didn't make a post when you contacted her? It IS relevant that she is now at least selectivly responding to peoples email. And instead of helping those in need by offering to be a go between or pass on messages you are on everyones case here while keeping facts to yourself. I just don't get it. You see all these people who are innocent completely ripped off and yet all we hear is poor elana. While harassing her kids is wrong I find it hard to believe it happened since NO ONE answers at her number and second, even if people are harassing her kids (and yes that's wrong) if she truely was worried about that she could stop it emmediately by responding to people instead of ignoring them. Yes, its wrong but if it is indeed happening she could easily stop it. You reap what you sow.

100% agree. i don't understand, habernita, how elana responded to you and not to any of the people she's ripped off and whom have been trying to reach her for months. what did she say about that? do you have a special email or way of reaching her? she's obviously aware of this thread, the troubles people have been having with her, etc so where is she in all this? i agree with bluejinx- you seem to have a lot of trouble with people on here who are trying to help those who were scammed get answers. you say there is no excuse for what elana has done (assuming you believe all the facts people have presented) yet you're in a position to help and don't.

i just want to say i am not trying to point fingers at anyone but habernita keeps coming on here and, in my opinion, making some of us wrong for posting things against elana and ff. she has said she has been in contact with her recently via email and i think that is helpful to know that elana is reachable and aware of the situation. since she seems to be the only person (as far as we know) that is able to reach elana perhaps she can shed some light on how others who need to because of transactions they've had with future fashionista can get in touch with her. my intention is truly not to attack any member on here.

I have provided all the info I have, and have shed all the light I can, which is not much, to those that needed it.
And, I have questioned only non-factual posts, not bonafide posts from wronged clients.

By the way, the backlash received for trying to keep the thread factual and on target, for trying to dispel any fears of people getting scammed on the FF site, since no CC's or Paypal are connected, and for posting good experiences with FF, is your perogative. And if you want to continue assuming my intentions, my behaviour or my lack of help to others go ahead, your perogative as well.

I have a favor ... Sometimes I find myself confused about who is saying what, who is quoting what, who is being quoted, and where the post is that was quoted.

It would really help in following this thread if posters would use the Quote or Multi-Quote button. Just click on either of those in the post(s) you want to quote and then go about posting as usual and the quote will appear above your new post. This way people can see what was quoted and then move down to read your new post.

Also, if you want to highlight a particular portion of what was said you can bold it or remove some of the quoted post. Make sure that you have two tags on the quoted material one that opens the quote

As I have tried in the past on this thread, some facts which are being either ignored or not posted are:

Neither Paypal nor credit card charges are available on Future Fashionista. They have been discontinued by FF for some time, if you don't believe it, try to charge and item and you will see for yourself. Furthermore this has been in effect for a few months now, so there is no danger of anyone buying anything online from Future Fashionista,, again, the danger has not existed for a few months.

This is good to know. People can still do a BIN on her ebay site, though.

There were several items offered by FF on the web and by J in the private market place that were clearly stated as having been made by a friend or by others, or purchased for a good price by FF., several of us received emails regarding the earrings described in this thread, which I own and love, stating that the stones were set by FF, the rest had been bought elsewhere.

I'm glad she was honest with you about the sourcing of her items. Wish it had been the same with everyone's purchases.

There are several members who have received positive appraisals on items bought from Elana. As posted by Winston, her business sense was not on par, especially for the time period starting last May.

"Business sense was not on par" is bit of an understatement, don't you think?

I know it has to be horrible for a good client to have received an appraisal much lower and of different specs from what was described to her, and there is no explanation for this.

However, for some of us, the chance to obtain the pearl necklaces, earrings, etc., we were able to purchase for the prices we purchased them for, and with the chance to customize our purchases, and pick from several options, was a great benefit. In my personal case, there was no conspiracy to deceive or scamming, again, this is in my personal case.

I am glad your personal purchases are satisfactory; I wish I could say the same to everyone else.

As I stated before on this thread, if someones personal life, (Elana's children have answered phone calls where they have been told their mother is a thief and many more things), business life is trashed, destroyed on the web, responsibility has to be taken to post factually.

If one is being pursued by collection agencies, those people will go to great ends to get their payments, including ceaseless calling, contacting people's friends and relatives and so forth. I don't think this thread in itself is responsible for the destruction of Elana's business life and loss of reputation. As I said before, she had friends here, people here cared about her, she had the chance to come here and say her side of the story, and I wonder why she never did.
