Don’t waste your time going to Hermes SCP . They literally have nothing to offer anyone .
This is factually incorrect. I have firsthand experience of being offered numerous things, and we have yet to be disappointed with our offers. I'm sure SCP is a busier and more competitive store that leads to getting specific items harder than other stores, but to say they literally have nothing to offer is an exaggeration.
I only shop in SCP and so far, I’ve gotten most of the stuff I want. If it’s not in the store, my SA is able to locate it else where and get it ship to my place. As for mini evelyn or other bags, I’ve requested before and haven’t gotten any offers. However, I’m not complaining. I can wait.
I’m sorry they have not treated you well in the past. I do feel there are different vibes in the different stores I’ve visited, and I’m curious what your experience was there.
Yes, at this point we’ve gotten multiple B/K’s. Each one has been precisely what we’ve been looking for including size, color, leather, and hardware. We’ve also been randomly offered Constances, Mini Lindys, and special orders. Put another way, we have yet to be unable to receive a bag that we’ve specifically requested, aside from our current pending request. Our requests have also frequently been for highly sought-after combinations.
I 100 % understand different stores have different vibes. All the stores I’ve tried to shop at I have had terrible vibes and I’ve been treated horribly at every single one . Been told that we have nothing for you at multiple stores across the world . Been told when I explained what I was looking for , “ that’s nice but we have nothing for you and even if we did have any of those things your asking for , we wouldn’t sell them to you but our top 10 customers “ . That’s just one example . At another location , I had the sales associate laugh in my face and told me that if I was looking for a B or K you can just leave now . Another example at SCP . I was looking for a FULL size cologne , SA said it was in stock , went in to find out that it wasn’t and it could be ordered but I prefer to buy in store and leave with product . Not buy it and wait and have it delivered . What’s the point of that . I could’ve just ordered it anywhere else . I don’t understand how any of you that shop at Hermes get treated better than me . I am ALWAYS smiley , very polite and well mannered , patient and wait my turn to speak to whomever is available when I walk in . I’ve worked retail and understand how people can treat sales associates. I’ve been waiting 3 years for an offer of something off my wishlist . I’m always told that stock is low and finally when I laid it all down honestly to my SA , he tells me “ Everyone just has to wait “ . Well for how long ? It’s been 3 years !!! I’m jealous if you’ve gotten something off your wishlist , and your SA likes you . It seems like I have any just the worst luck ever . My dear old husband has witnessed the abuse to me by SA’s at every store we’ve ever been to . He doesn’t understand why I keep going back . I could buy 15 Birkin’s in one sitting if they have them but no one will give me the time of day to sell me anything . Their abuse to customers is absolutely vile . So maybe I’m a little dramatic by saying they have nothing to offer anyone at SCP , but really when it comes down to it . Do they really have anything you really want . Which is all leather goods and bags . I’m not looking for some stupid twilly , scarf or tacky H bracelet .
I believe you are a VVIP, because I have multiple friends who shop at this location and it does not happen. It's very competitive at that store and my friends are more that sweet and nice to their SAs every time. They are long time customers, but they don't get what they want.
That’s really nice that you’ve been able to attain those items . Your sales associate must really like you . Mine apparently does not . I TRIED to switch but was not allowed . How did you get to be offered multiple bags ? Did you buy an all diamond bracelet that day or something ? A saddle ? LoL I don’t mean to get all frustrated with you personally . I’m just expressing the way I feel about H as a brand and how they treat certain customers . Apparently you know just how to play the game .
She must be a VERY VERY IMPORTANT PERSON to attain such items . Like I said ‘ what did she purchase to becomes such a VVIP . I wonder , does her personality match her VVIP status ? Do you think your better than most BECAUSE of those attained status symbols . Do you hold doors open for elderly people , do you pick up a piece of trash that someone threw out next to the trash can , are you a well mannered individual who appreciates the fact that you are able to purchase such luxurious items . I don’t know anyones back story or judge right off the bat but just curious if she knows just how lucky she is …

I'd say not being super aggressive and confrontational is pretty important to building a good relationship with an SA.
That's not something I can really comment on. Personally, I don't believe that we are VVIP's because of the anecdotes we've seen or heard of others who we believe would better fit the VVIP billing, but I do agree that we have been very fortunate. It's not like they roll out the red carpet for us when we shop there, and it's not like we feel like we're treated extra well. My text messages sometimes get ignored just like other people.
What the heck? I don't understand where this hostility is coming from, making insinuations about my personality and suggesting that we're undeserving. First of all, I'm male. My wife and I shop at Hermes together. We're very appreciative of the fortune we've had. I understand for people that are working toward getting their first quota bag that there's an almost-intentional air of mystery or confusion, and I'm more than willing to offer whatever insights I can to people that have questions.
