I have a question for you wide-footed gals who wear designer footwear.

I'm updating my shoe wardrobe and am seeking a pair of classic black patent leather pumps. Something designer, but that can accommodate my wide feet (I'm a B-C). Heel height anywhere from 3-1/2 to 4-1/2", with no more than a 1/2" platform.

I know that Louboutins are too narrow for my feet, but have no experience with Prada, Jimmy Choo, Stuart Weitzman, Zanotti, or Kate Spade. I've been cruising online websites like Neiman's, Nordstrom, and Net-a-Porter and am most attracted to these designers' shapes. I know these sites are failsafe--I can return anything that doesn't fit, no questions asked—but I don't want to have to do that over and over again.

If any of you have experience with a comfortable designer pump, please give them a shout-out here. I'd appreciate your advice!

Gucci often do a C fitting; Manolo Blahnik is also good. I have also found Brian Atwood okay and Pucci.
Jimmy Choo is a narrow fitting usually like CL.

prada and miu miu have the best for wide feet

I second that. After my pregnancies my feet have changed and I can only wear my old Prada heels without pain. In general the French brands (Chloe, Celine) tend to be narrower than Italian ones. You may want to try C width Ferragamo, or even some Caligarius regular width.

My friend has wide feet and she has 2 pairs of louis vuittons she wears comfortably. You can try ferragamo - they make a wider C width. SW makes wide sizes too if I'm not mistaken. I think prada, Jimmy choo, CL , giuseppe all run pretty narrow.
