If you don’t want a mini lindy you shouldn’t buy one.
Given the current state of affairs in the Hermes world (at least in the US) if your priority is a Birkin or Kelly in the highly coveted 25cm size your choices are to wait until one is offered at the boutique, keeping your eye on what you consider to be the prize, purchasing a B/K and not being distracted by other bags because they are not your priority, or purchase exactly what you want from a reseller.

I love Mini Lindy. My husband just bought me one online in gold color. I like gold color, but I already have mini roulis and picotin in gold, so my preference would be Etoupe. My SA told me they would call me when September shipment comes in, but no idea what color it would be. So I'm not sure if I should take the chance for Etoupe or wish for a quota bag. I don't want to waste $8k pre-spend only for a different color.
