I take my evelyne when I travel. While roaming town precovid, haven't left the house for over a year, I'd frequently use my mini evelyne 16. I love evelyne's because I can use crossbody. Handy IMO when traveling or when need hands free shopping. I guess it depends on how much you want to carry. I carry my essentials no problem and don't bulk out my evelyne. If you don't want to show the perforated H turn it around. I do at times. Hope this helps.

I have both a Lindy 30 and Halzan 31 and as far as low-key, the Halzan is definitely the most low-key of the bunch imo. I can also unbuckle it with one hand. I am not a fan of the Bolide as it feels too structured for me. I love my Lindy because it can carry a lot, but when it's empty, it squishes nicely next to my body.

I was just think of this yesterday as I was carrying my new Picotin. I think it’s low key and discreet but obviously Hermès if you know. But without a shoulder strap not the most carefree.
My mini bolide is also low key and I’m interested in the new 25. But these bags often get confused with the lv alma and might not be obviously Hermès which is also good.
I think the Halzan 25 is a perfect option. So discreet and understated while practical. I hope to add one to my collection one day. I’m looking to add a Kelly 28 retourne first which I also think can be low key to those not in the know. Curious to see if anyone else thinks the Kelly is low key

Hi ladies!

Looking for some recs on your favorite lowkey H bag. Looking for something purposefully understated, so I can feel good milling the city with it and take on solo travels and abroad. Currently thinking about:

- The Halzan 25
- Bolide 27
- Mini Lindy? I think I like this one the least aesthetically but this is my friends FAVE lowkey h bag so maybe I'm missing something here

Do any of you have advice or opinions? Would appreciate your input, thank you!
Double Sens, Bolide, Victoria.

Good morning!

I have the Bolide 31 and it’s my favorite bag. I prefer it over my Birkin.
It’s light weight, beautifully hand crafted, can be dressed up with Twilly, can take you from errands to work to casual dinners. I love that I can carry the bag three different ways: in my hand, on the crook of my arm, or on my shoulder. It fits all my essentials, with plenty of room to spare. I also love that the bag is understated. I don’t like the attention my Birkin gets, quite honestly.

I liked the 27 size initially, but I wanted the softness of the Clemence leather, and Clemence leather isn’t offered in size 27. If that matters to you, you might consider the 31 as well. The Clemence leather is very soft and gives a more casual vibe, which suits my current life style.

Perhaps you know the cool history of this bag? Hermes made this bag for his wife in 1923. It’s the first Hermes handbag, and the first handbag to ever have a zipper! Hermes got the idea for a zippered handbag after he toured the Henry Ford factory and saw the zipper tops on cars!

I also love my two Evelyne PM’s. I wear them with the H side against my body. They are comfortable and beautiful.

Good luck deciding!

I also love my Bolide, and while we’re on fun facts, it was initially called Bugatti until the motor company objected, and the name was changed to Bolide.
