Of course I was worried about the same thing but in the end my need for a bag in Barenia won out. I am hoping she will arrive tomorrow. I will post if she does.

okay she is here. I got my daughter to hold it while I took pictures. It is comfortable. I don't think it will be a problem to carry

Loving my vintage Hermes Sac Sandrine from the 1970s. There is no logo on the outside at all. I was drawn to this bag from the strap design. You can detach it on one end and switch between the single strap longer setting or double strap shorter setting. I am also able to use a strap extender to get the bag to sit at my preferred length for crossbody

Sandrine is my favourite vintage Hermès, it’s retro in a cool Catherine Deneuve way , and so elegant .

In my opinion the evelyne sellier might fly under the radar. She seems not to have been a real succes for whatever reason. I even wonder if she has been discontinued. People admire her whitout recognizing the brand.

also it looks like it softened from being cardboard-like. Did it?

Maybe somebody else please could answer the question if it has been discontinued?
With time and wear it becomes a little softer, but it will never attain the slouchyness of an evelyne in Togo leather.
