my experiences with Linda's Stuff have been most positive... there are other
posters who have had different experiences... if she has what you want and the price is
what you want to pay for , why don't you have your own experience and give Linda's Stuff
a shot?? she has a very flexible return policy, so really what do you have to lose ???
if you go ahead, enjoy your purchase

I've bought from Linda's Stuff on five different occasions and my experiences have been positive and without problems. Shipping was a bit slow with the Lanvin bag I bought recently, it took almost 4 weeks to arrive, but it was as described, as were the other bags I've bought.

No response to my previous messages, but Linda's did come through and refund the shipping today. While it is not going to change my attitude about looking REAL close at the listings, they did make things "right" and I appreciated the refund that was promised.

For those of you who have not ordered from Linda's before, it is hit or miss. Sometimes the items are same or even in better condition than described, sometimes not. I have been lucky in the past (purchased quite a bit of items them), but this recent purchase was, as I mentioned disappointing.

Give them a shot, but make sure you look really close at the photos, because at times their prices are reasonable, and at least as others have said, they do take returns. Thanks Linda's for following through

They've also sold some fake Coaches, apparently they're either too big or too busy to authenticate them and some of their employees are totally clueless about fakes. Unfortunately reporting their fakes to Ebay doesn't help because Ebay won't risk getting their high-volume sellers angry, so the fakes are allowed to slide right through.

With Coach at least, I'd recommend using caution when buying from them, and have everything authenticated at the Coach forum here before you bid.

They have also listed fake LV (a keepall is one that sticks out in my mind - and it was actually shipped to a buyer that then had to return it and get refunded) and I know several people have kept lists of the fake Pradas listed -- there have been quite a few.

I have had 2 very very bad experiences with Lindas Stuff. Never ever again.

Frankly, I'm not a huge fan of Linda*s***stuff. But in this case, I think you are wrong.

Asking for a partial refund is a tactic used by many buyers as a way to get their item for less.

If the shoes are as bad as you describe, how is a 50% refund going to make them better?

If Linda is offering a full refund, return them and get your money back.

If you're unhappy with the shoes and don't want to send them back, resell them yourself with full disclosure.

Simple: they inaccurately described the item as being in better condition than it really was so as to get more money for them.

I completely agree with you. I do not ask for partial refunds because I am "trying to get my purchase for cheaper" but because I am unhappy with the way the condition or quality of the product was described (because it isnt AS described or there are huge defects) and I want to sell it because it is cheaper than sending it back, and a partial refund helps me sell it for less. (Ex) No one would buy defective Steve Madden boots with number markings on it for $70 but maybe they would for $30. And a partial refund will help you lose less money for a bad seller's mistake.

I just received a bag I purchased from her, exactly as described but did not mention the label on the interior has a shiny mark on it, but that is not a big deal anyways, if it was an expensive bag however it would be a different story. Also the bag was a little out of shape from being stored which I didnt know either.

Otherwise it is brand new as described and I still am happy considering I payed less than what I would have!

Realized that the bag was a sample... and not for resale...

Thanks for explaining my point of view in a more articulate manner than I could. It's infuriating when people imply you should put up with being duped. The argument that poster made is only one I've heard from duplicitous sellers make FWIW. I should also point out I'm in Australia, meaning to send back those boots to the US would cost me $30, 1/4 the price I paid for them.

IIRC they were listed as having been worn once and in like new condition. They were heavily used, with the gold varnish peeled off and rubbed out all over both boots.

Do any of you have any other suggestions for consignment that don't take an absurd amount of fees and will take Theory / JCrew / etc. quality stuff that takes a lot of effort to list but doesn't sell for that much? I have 3 bags of stuff and don't have time to list it myself and was going to send it to Linda's Stuff but now am nervous about it...

Thanks!

I just recently found Linda's Stuff on eBay and ordered 3 pairs of 7 for all mankind jeans. They sent me a wrong pair, but I'm going to keep them because they look okay on. Do I have to worry about the authenticity of this site? I don't know how to entirely know for sure if 7 for all mankind jeans are real or not, I compared them to the jeans I already own, but just wanted to see from anyone who has had experience with this site. Thanks!

I have never had a problem with Linda' s Stuff being anything but authentic...

Recently bought a gorgeous designer bag that was described perfectly & the

condition was immaculate....and the transaction could not have gone better!!

I would recommend dealing with her without any reservation at all:tup:

You can post pics of the jeans in the authentication section of the wardrobe forum, and I can help. :smile1: I don't directly have experience ordering from this site, but I do personally know people who have gotten wrong items shipped to them.
