You can't get an unpaid strike for something you did pay for, if you did ebay would remove it. I'm pretty sure that if you dont respond to a cancellation that they will close in her favor and refund fvf.

Grateful for your ladies advice please...

As mentioned, in my earlier posts. I had returned the items back to Linda's stuff as soon as got it, due to various reasons. And got my refund via paypal on 6th October. Since then, I had received various open cases from Linda's stuff to cancel the items I suppose due to the fact that she would like to get her valuation fees back from ebay since I had returned the items??? It asks me to agree to cancel or not agree to cancel the transaction. I didnt response, but now I got another open email advice from Linda's stuff, stating that "We need your response to an unpaid case item" with the following response "If you don't respond by 14-Oct-2011 you may receive an Unpaid Item strike.".....my question is as follows:

1) Is it because, I didnt respond to the cancellation cases that I got this automatic unpaid cases ???...on the face of it, its kinda of weird. Ebay can see that I had paid and Linda's stuff had already refunded me...so why would I get this email from Linda's stuff stating that I had not paid for all the items that I had returned???...any advice from you ladies would be helpful.....many thanks

While I understand in most cases that a mutual is fair, in the case of Linda's stuff, by allowing her the mutuals, it's sending a message that it's okay to describe her items inaccurately as long as the buyers are refunded if unhappy with what they get.

Instead of requesting mutuals, Linda should be consulting with her staff and stressing the importance of full disclosure and honesty in her listings.

As for the "unpaid item" dispute, I don't think that's actually what she filed although that's what ebay makes it appear.

Do respond to the mutual that you do NOT want to mutually cancel. That way, she won't get her FVF credit and if enough buyers do this, maybe she'll change her ways.

If you don't respond, after 7 days, she'll get the credit anyway so you must respond.
Is the email about the unpaid strike from LInda's Stuff or ebay? If it is from Linda's Stuff, it is probably a "canned" email that is not particular to your situation. You can chose to cancel or not, but since you got your refund, I would probably cancel. If the problem you had with the items was bad enough for negative feedback, then don't cancel so you can leave appropriate feedback. But, Linda's Stuff is so big, ebay won't do anything to her anyway. I believe that she accepts having to refund occasionally (or more so) as the "price of doing business," and is not careful at all as to what she sends to her buyers.
My guess is that Linda words the messages this way in order to intimidate the buyer and make the buyer think that if they don't agree to the mutual that they'll get a strike.

Don't buy into it.

^^^thank you all for your comments and suggestions. This is what I did, in the state of frustation & anger...1) As suggested by BB, as I didnt know why I had received the unpaid notices given that I had in fact paid & been refunded. I DID NOT agree to cancell the transaction & wrote, in the additional notes, stating " I am unclear as to why I have received unpaid notices from you" on each of the item. After I pressed the buttom, I noticed, that the open cases, have since been closed ?! 2) I also wrote to ebay, asking them why I had received such notices, when I in fact I had paid, but yet to receive a response from them....do you think I should call ebay ?? or just leave it.

If this is how Linda's stuff intimidate their buyers, I am more furious than ever, it is unethnical !!!...perhaps she should stop giving interviews and start managing her business like a real professional !

I have received my items after a month and a haft waiting for her checking my paypal tranaction ID .... And most of the items look completely different from what she described on her auction. They are all damaged and almost can not wear while she said that it is in mint condition ...I was so disappointed but don't want to send them back to her as I have paid alot for shipping fee( I'm in overseas),if I send it back to her then the shipping fee I have to pay in total for 2 ways shipping would be the same price of those items.so i just forget it. Anyway I have learned my lesson! Haft haft

If you open a SNAD and win you will be refunded your original shipping

Why would you want to keep damage & unwearable clothing??

True, but she would still have to ship them back to the US, and Ebay won't force Linda to reimburse her for that (though it's what Linda should offer to do anyway)

I have returned to linda w/out opening a SNAD and my orig shipping was refunded w/out my even asking. Of course it wasn't int'l postage, but i think they just refund the entire orig payment because it is quicker/easier.

I agree that when something is snad, the seller should make the buyer whole. (And it doesn't matter that it's an international sale.)

If Linda doesn't agree to it on her own, you should request it.

^Yeah, I meant the cost of shipping back to Linda, which would be especially steep for an international buyer.

thank ladies for your advance. the shipping fee is really an issue for me as an international buyer. I bought 4 tops from her and (actuallly 1 top looks ok;).) the total amount was just about 120 USD. But the shipping fee was 45$, if i return them to her then i have to pay 45$ more.so there will be 90 $ for shipping only. the issue i am thinking is if i send them to her, definitly i have to wait long time for her solving my problem as with my Tanaction Paypal ID i experiensed with her. And not so sure the shipping fee will be refurned or not?

because the amount was not big so i just want to pass it and leaving her some negative feedback.:graucho::graucho:.

Because she is overseas...high shipping charges anyone? I recently ordered some things from a tailor in another country, and so I understand. The cost of shipping back is the same as the cost the credit would be.
I also understand. Shipping a bag or boots from where I am costs me $65-75. Sometimes it´s just not worth it.

I won a wallet, paid, heard from Linda's store that sorry, they didn't have it anymore, their mistake. so they gave me 10 percent off and free shipping on an item. I won a purse, not here yet, but I had to email over and over to get my invoice corrected. Also I asked if a vintage gucci was black or navy, looked black, they said black at top and navy at bottem of listing, never heard back. I am a bit worried about whats next
