Yup, she used to be in my Fav list of sellers but now i have removed her. Wanted to buy a Fendi spy from her, though bag was real (auth here) but there are some discolouring on the handles (it was a older version of bag) but in her posting, she described as very good condition with no mention of the discolouring. Luckily for me, mzedith noticed it for me and reminded me about the discolouring. Other sellers (was looking for 1 desperately till now) would have mention that. Also, my question to her about the bag was replied after auction closed.

Unfortunately, Linda's is kinda NOTORIOUS for responding to questions you have after the auction is closed :-s ...that's not how you run a business IF you want it to stay running.
The 'no response to auction item questioning" happened TWICE to my friend with Linda's. My friend is smart so she stopped bidding or just didn't bid when she realized her questions about the bags she was interested in were getting ignored.
Ebay does have a "can't contact the seller" RETRACTION of your bid if the seller doesn't answer questions in a timely matter (they have 48 hours for chrissakes, hello!). In my opinion if you are in the business of selling on ebay OR if you are just selling in general, you have to have someone on that messaging thing. It just SCREAMS "novice" business.

Linda's has a silver prada wallet listed as excellent condition right now. I'm thinking they didn't get that authenticated and didn't look closely to see the dirt on the front!

It' just a sloppy, unprofessional way to run a business. To put it mildly.

I hadn't thought of that though it's possible, I suppose. Linda is in PA and the seller with the current Prada listing is in NY. They're close enough that they could be connected.

When I made my post, I was referring to the new seller's use of hotlinked pictures. When pictures are hotlinked to the original seller's album, the owner of the pics can replace them with porn or some other images.

I'm pretty sure you can make your listing from whatever location you want. I've seen sellers write "Anytown USA."

Also, I would not be surprised if Linda or an employee of hers was posting on this very thread. :wondering Just sayin'...

^^ She's done that before with new IDs.

Whenever I see someone sign up for an account here, post only on this thread and never post anywhere else - saying how wonderful this seller is and prompt in responding (*cough*bs*cough*) I just disregard the post and consider it obvious.

Just sayin'.

I'll have to poke around. I remember a problem that a member here had with one of Linda's items and Linda posted. She offered to make it right. If I can find that post, I'm sure the mods could compare IPs to see if there are other posts.

Edited to add: Here's the post where the buyer was unhappy: http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-forum/filed-ebay-dispute-against-linda-s-stuff-543964.html

And Linda's response: http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-for...g-reach-ellie-mae-resolve-dispute-544161.html

I have usually had a great experience with Linda. Recently I purchased some shoes that were just as described but returned them b/c of the size.

Received a prompt refund that included shipping costs! I did have a question about another item and did not get a response until the listing was over. Their customer service has gone down IMO. I will continue to check out her listings b/c of the good deals. I will be sure to get it authenticated here first...fakes scare me...

I finally got a response to my messages to Linda...according to Fred they are moving to another location. Whatever...

That's what they said to me previously, and that was a month ago ?!...they always have some form of excuses, whether, it is high volume, moving location, short of staff, or in my case, they just outright lie !! I think I had heard it all...at the end of day. I am so done with Linda's stuff. Full Stop !

Grateful for your ladies advice please...

As mentioned, in my earlier posts. I had returned the items back to Linda's stuff as soon as got it, due to various reasons. And got my refund via paypal on 6th October. Since then, I had received various open cases from Linda's stuff to cancel the items I suppose due to the fact that she would like to get her valuation fees back from ebay since I had returned the items??? It asks me to agree to cancel or not agree to cancel the transaction. I didnt response, but now I got another open email advice from Linda's stuff, stating that "We need your response to an unpaid case item" with the following response "If you don't respond by 14-Oct-2011 you may receive an Unpaid Item strike.".....my question is as follows:

1) Is it because, I didnt respond to the cancellation cases that I got this automatic unpaid cases ???...on the face of it, its kinda of weird. Ebay can see that I had paid and Linda's stuff had already refunded me...so why would I get this email from Linda's stuff stating that I had not paid for all the items that I had returned???...any advice from you ladies would be helpful.....many thanks

Is the email about the unpaid strike from LInda's Stuff or ebay? If it is from Linda's Stuff, it is probably a "canned" email that is not particular to your situation. You can chose to cancel or not, but since you got your refund, I would probably cancel. If the problem you had with the items was bad enough for negative feedback, then don't cancel so you can leave appropriate feedback. But, Linda's Stuff is so big, ebay won't do anything to her anyway. I believe that she accepts having to refund occasionally (or more so) as the "price of doing business," and is not careful at all as to what she sends to her buyers.
