RE: Linda's Stuff keeps on screwing up!
YES, Screwing up AGREED! After several borderline purchases that seemed like good deals on used items (things were more worn & dirty than shown/described) from this seller, I STOPPED last year after buying a pair of patent leather shoes with damaged straps, beyond repair. The damage was not mentioned, actually hidden, with strap arrangement in the photos. It took nearly a week to get a response after I sent photos and a description. Their response was: "Oh, how could my listing worker have missed that?... ooops, sorry... and we might consider paying for repair but it looks like it would be too costly - more than the shoes are worth so just send them back for refund"

Well, because my life was extremely busy with elder care of a dying parent, I never got around to sending them back in time and still have them around as a "buyer beware" reminder. The seller did offer a full refund had I returned them in time. I should have left neutral feedback, unfortunately I left a positive for the offer to refund for an "honest mistake" and now wish I had left neutral or negative for the hassle and to WARN others. So, losing my money on broken shoes by not returning them quickly was my fault, I guess, but I feel that with the volume of sales they do that this is a bit of a TRAP for human nature, knowing that people don't always get around to timely returns.

I am so glad I read this post. I have had my eyes on her stuff before, but after seeing this and the couple of fakes she has listed, I am steering clear of this seller!

I've read a lot lately about how she's messed up, but the three transactions I did with her in the past were fine. She has gotten HUGE (takes consignments from many people), but still, that is no excuse. I have also read she will fix things if she messes up - like refund you asap, etc. Haven't bought anything in a long time so I really don't know the latest. Sorry to hear this.

I purchased a Juicy Couture shirt from her a few years ago, and it showed up with several holes in it. After attempting to email her with no response, I filed a claim with PayPal...would you believe they ruled in her favor?!? I was stunned, but luckily not out too much money. The shirt went straight into the trash.

I had purchased close to ten items from her last month and still in the process of resolving (slow overseas posting, numerous emails follow up, wrong item posted, not as described, etc, etc all this happened in one shippment ! due to multiple buys).

I must admit that I had read this thread last year and also read all of her negative & neutral feedbacks, but thought I give her a chance as I found some items I like. I think I have learned my lesson..I now hope to end this nightmare shortly so I can move on....

I just bought a Missoni skirt from her which hasn't gotten here yet. I have my fingers crossed. As I said above, she has sent me good things in the past. Troubling to hear all the bad stuff. She just got way too big is what I think.

What I find interesting is her shoes. I wear a 39 in Prada and a 40 in CL (maaaaaybe a 39.5) and whenever I find a pair she has listed the insole measurements given are almost an inch smaller than what the size 'should' measure iykwim. I couldn't believe the measurements could be that off so I purchased a pair of Prada sandals. Sure enough they said 39 on the bottom but were too small. Maybe because they were a lot older than the ones I have been purchasing recently. But every time I see a listing I look at her measurements and they are small. Weird.
I will say that I have never had a problem with her taking a return or shipping items out.

I've had very limited experience with her- bought two bags, both Treesje's and returned one. The return went off without a hitch, though I did have to call and speak to someone to find out when they'd be doing the actual refund. Both times the items were adequately (though not excellently) packaged and arrived in a timely manner. I'm sorry to hear so many TPF-ers have had issues with her in the past; it's definitely enough to make me rethink buying items from her in the future.

I'm so surprised! She's one of my favorite sellers, I go back to her often for great deals. She has had a few fake jeans up in the past that I noticed, but I am sure she didn't realize. Some are easy to mistake, especially with such a high volume of clothing.

Sorry you're having a bad experience :(

Maybe it's time to hire more employees!

edit: Actually, my very first buy from her was a pair of Current Elliott jeans for $12 (her photos were pretty bad) and I ended up re-selling them in the height of Current/Elliott madness for $284! I kid u not! I haven't had nearly such luck with that brand since, though.

side note- I also gave her advise for her own auctions on how to photograph her denim to get more bids - I was feeling helpful lol - I don't see a change in her photography though. And I can see her denim sales suffer unfortunately.

I think its a combintation of both - perhaps, it gotten too big/high volume coupled with untrained staff...I even commented to them stating that for high end designer items such as Chanel, I would have thought, they would at least, take the time to describe the items more accurately, prior to listing !. Its very time consuming for both the buyers and sellers, having to deal with returns and emails, follow up calls, refunds, etc, etc, etc. Frankly, its just poor customer service.

Personally, I think she needs to review the processes from end to end to see how she can improve her operation effeciencies. I had offered my two cents worth to her team, not that they are listening...
