I decided to get rid of SV and get Essie Good to Go. Amazing difference, doesn't smell bad, dries quickly, shine lasts a full week, no chipping, highly recommend it over SV.

My sentiments exactly. I love Essie GTG and have NO problems with shrinkage on any of my manicures and no bubbles either...best top coat out there.

Product name/shade: Seche Vite dry fast top coat

Review: Does make my two coats of polish dry superfast, but a day later my polish seemed to "bubble up" and just peel off in one big strip. I tried it 3x with different brands of polish each time with the same results. I was so hoping that this would work.

Price: $7.99

Will purchase again: No

Where to find it: got mine at CVS

Omg, i used (and am still using) SV throughout my pregnancies! The warning should be larger. This kind of things (like vit.A) should be made in large print!

Just switched from OPI Rapid Dry to SV and thats the first thing I noticed on the bottle, and it kinda made me wonder how dangerous it can be. Its a great top coat, just that warning is a bit scary.

OMG, I used this on my sister when she was pregnant with my beautiful baby niece. Thank goodness nothing bad occured or I wouldn't be able to forgive myself. I'll be honest and admit I'm a SV addict and purchased tons from them because a regular mani/pedi looks lame without it. I never read what's written in the bottle except its name before finding this thread. I'll toss the bottle I have now and look for something else. I hope this essie thing isn't as dangerous as SV. I saw them in my walmart the other day.

Agreed! I got Good to Go 2 months ago and don't know what I have been doing without it. The glossy shine it creates is AMAZING! Unlike any other, consistency is great and easy to spread, dries fast and my np lasts without chipping/ shrinkage and the glossy shine stays and stays.

I finally bought Essie Good to Go and used it for a week now. While the consistency is nice and worked well as a topcoat, I think the SV looks more "gel-like" on my nails. If only they can do without their harmful ingredients, I'll buy from them again.

I've only used SV. I am a total noob, but I love both the shiny aspect as well as the quick dry time. I can polish my nails with base coat, 2 color coats, SV top coat and take a shower within 2 hours. I have noticed the SV thickening, so I'll look for Restore. My main thing is that I need to keep the Seche base across the table from SV - I have used Seche Base as a top coat unintentionally and it has not had a positive outcome!
