Seche Vite dry fast top coat

I bought the dry fast top coat and got the seche vite base coat for free. While it does dry fast, my nails along with my sister's nails chipped or peeled off within 2 days. Applied it on wet nails and tried thicker and thinner coats but results were still the same. *sigh

I have not read the whole thread so not sure if it has been said but if you read the back of the bottle you'll see that this stuff is dangerous. It has an ingredient known to cause birth defects and reproductive issues.

Although it dries super fast, it chips on me after 1 day I find OPI way better.

I love this topcoat, but does anyone have a problem with their nailpolish peeling off? After a few days, I find the nailpolish peeling off in one large piece.

Yes, and I love it. So easy to take off

love it but I use Revlon Insta Dry (?) for "non Seche-worthy" manis.

i love mine! but once i bought a bottle once though ( which must have been a dud) and didnt dry my nails at all... it didnt dry and just added a sticky coat on the top which was v. disappointing... i think its a little more expensive here in the uk too but still worth it! xx

Are you applying it immediately after painting your nail color? That is must. If you apply SV over dry nail color it will peel off like that IME.

Wow thank you for this tip, I also had this problem of it flaking off within a couple of days. Just re-did my nails and applied it to wet nails, amazing. Why don't they tell you do this on the bottle? I always thought you had to wait until the last coat of polish lost its tackiness.

I didn't like this because it would always peel! Definitely gonna give it another go with your suggestion!
