Le Sigh.

I am really bummed about the opening of H in WA. (it's the tax thing). I will miss my discount privileges at my "home" boutique. Guess this means I need to ante up and buy something in honor of the tax elimination. . . (I am my own worst enabler).

Kate - thanks for the information! I'm so glad to hear H will be opening on time (just in time for my birthday - although the way things are going I'll only be able to afford a pocket sqare!) HnE, yes it's a shame about the 'tax' discount - maybe get OFL to 'buy' for you. And don't worry, we will help enable you - in the background, like a greek chorus.

I just heard a radio ad for the Bravern in Bellevue. They were welcoming Neiman Marcus and Jimmy Choo, opening in Sept 2009. I popped over to their website and watched the most recent shops video. Hermes is prevalent in the video as well as the list of other shops. But, no Bottega Veneta. I've got to look into this further.

The back cover of the program for the Colorado Symphony this weekend was an Hermes ad...with the address and phone number for the new Denver store!! Made it seem real--and DH just had to laugh at me for being so excited about an ad :p

though, when I drove by last week, the inside was still totally under construction.

I am right there with you HN! The savings on tax is huge! This year I am frantically buying H out of state before it comes to Bellevue. Part of the fun for me was to buy when I travel. And I adore my out of state SA.

^^not to mention all the other fun shopping spots and new eateries....it will be a great place to meet and shop....away from busy downtown Seattle, with a better offering to boot.

I think there are always ways to work things like the tax and SAs out... it will be OK hNe....promise.....and just think how often we can meet there and play!! :yahoo:

And we'll get to see silks and leathers, etc. to help with choices, the real thing, instead of relying on words and pictures.....I for one cannot wait.

How exciting about the Seattle Hermes! I wish I was still in the area to celebrate the opening, but.... I'm planning on visiting the area in Aug or Sep for a little vacation (yeah, I know, how many people go to the rain capital of the US on vacation  but I love it). I hope the store is open by the time I'm there!

Hi Florasun!! Yup, a meet up would be great! I am far far away now but should be back for a little break at the end of the summer - can't wait! I think I'll deserve a bit of a spree ...
