Last I heard about Denver was it was moved to early '09, but I would love an update from anyone who knows more!
Denver - Another tPFer said they took the Hermes sign down and construction has not begun. SAD!!!
Phoenix/Scottsdale - Construction of the new wing has begun at Fashion Square but no sure if it will still be at that location or another luxury mall being built north on Scottsdale Road. That was the scuttlebutt I got two weeks ago when I visited. Interesting. But it sounds like it's still coming.

Great. Now I find out!I'll drive by--the building is definitely under construction--but it's part of a larger complex including luxury condominiums, so I'm not sure how far along the Hermes area is.
Vegas - My old information was that it was scheduled to open in January/February 09. Nothing new to report.
Oooh! Maybe they take the promotional signs down once they start construction? Hoping, hoping, hoping!!
I am still mourning the loss of my 'Hermes discount' when a store opens in the PNW.
HM, I feel your pain. I love to travel and get my H discount, it is part of the fun for me. It will hurt to add another 9%.

FS - I think you make a good point. With luxury retailers evaluating their pricing (WSJ article) and the conspicuous consumption falling out of favor (NYtimes article), you've got to wonder if new stores will be next up on the belt tightening!

For a while there was a rumor that NM was considering backing out of Bravern. But the last I heard NM grand opening party date has already been set. H's contract at Bravern requires that NM first open so it looks like it is still a go.
And my H SA has not heard otherwise.
