Seattle-Vegas-Scottsdale-Denver Updates

Just stopped by Hermes Denver store across from Cherry creek mall. Beautiful!!! They were still busy working inside even though almost all kinds of lovely H's are on display.
My DH and I were ooh and ahhing outside and pointing lovelies and the manager poked his head out and told us that they will be openning on coming Monday. When I mentioned that how our store openning is much anticipated event, he told us how frustrating it is to have their work being delayed and being slowed by many little problems (ie: ordering exact right color to accent (or paint) the store...ect)
We saw a Black Birkin displayed prominetly in the middle (top shelf) of the store and it looked fab! I thought it might have been 40cm because it just looked very big! if any can make it in to the store on monday, please tell us how it is and also about that fab Birkin. It's about hour and half drive to Hermes Denver and I will be going back next month.

I got the save the date from Neiman Marcus at Bravern in Bellevue. Wonder if all the stores are opening the same day?
When I was in NYC, the SA there said construction was delayed on everything, including Seattle. I hope that isn't true!

I heard that Bravern is on schedule but that Scottsdale is delayed to sometime in 2011.Oh no!

The save the date is for a black tie and charity event for grand opening on 9/10. More details will come early august.. I wonder if they will let me shop.. I guess the official opening date is 9/11?
The GM Peter said they DO want people to buy. They are already doing trunk shows for Zac Posen & Van Cleef now!
just spoke with the main Hermes contact at Bravern and Seattle Hermes boutique opening is still a big GO for September 12! 
Course things can change in the last weeks and days, so we should take the Sept. 12 date with that grain of salt, but......
to the Bravern rep's knowledge, they are still ON TRACK BABY!!
