Sounds as though the "photo bug" isn't fixed for some. I'm using tPF on my laptop, running under Safari (not the app on my phone) and am seeing the pix just fine. Don't know if this is useful information or not. :hrmm:

Beautiful, Fifi! OH no, that is every scarf-wearer's worst nightmare. I hardly ever wear bright lipstick now as I live in a very windy city. I love Joannadyne's bright lipsticks and I think that she is so brave wearing them. If I co-ordinated my lipsticks with my scarves I would definitely have ruined my entire small collection by now! I hope your stains come out.
I was distraught, Pautinka! It almost ruined my dinner (almost!)... I’m drying to get it back from the dry cleaners! I still wear the bright lipsticks as well, though! Although I’m still terrified of base makeup near my neck!

Nope...I don't see anybody's pics from before today....

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I was wearing my special boots (YSL- an anniversary gift from a couple of years ago) so I did a full mod shot  because I luvz them so! With Brazil MT. This one almost ended up getting saved for next week's theme....but I've changed my mind again, though it is mostly a fall scarf for me, I think. SOOOO much length to deal with! You may see it repeatedly next week as I struggle to find more than one way to wear it!

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate!
Today I'm wearing the KO Texas Wildlife scarf as a "collar," knotted as @ABQ2ATL demonstrated last week with the asymmetrical fold and tails pulled through a gizmo, and then with the tails tucked down into the neckline of my dress. That way they won't drop into my full plate of ACTUAL turkey later today!

Beautiful and vibrant cw... and I’m also going to try this know. Great point that it is an awesome know to wear for dinner, keeping the ends tucked away!

Squick of the Day: Belle Chasse. I like the feathers. I'm hiding the heads in the knot because I find the heads and talons the most disturbing parts :-s

I must admit that the feathers are glorious, but I’ve also been squeamish of the rest of the birds. Very creative way of keeping the “disturbing parts” hidden!

PSA and a cry for help: I had picture problems, too, so I thought I would delete and reinstall the app. Don't do it, folks! I deleted two days ago but then cannot find the app in the App Store to reinstall! A search for PurseForum turns up nothing. So I am app-less and helpless. Luckily, I did install the app on my work phone... now that one had the picture problem, too, so I turned it off and on and that fixed about half the photos.

@Pautinka: Thanks for the nice compliment on my lipstick! There is a trick to not having it smudge your scarf on a windy day: wear matte lipsticks. I have had the same thing happen to me - the wind slapped my scarf into my face - and when I anxiously looked for the pink/purple stain, was relieved to find none!
I agree about the matte lipsticks Joannadyne. They are my favorites. And the ONE DAY that I try a gloss for a change... the scarf blows right over my face! Waaaaahhhh!

Dear eagle, sorry to have taken a few days to get back to you. Your brooch sounds incredible and may well be the Prince of Wales feathers. I am with you on the bracelets - I would love to have one but refuse to pay the prices people seem to want these days! Some are absolutely stunning. Re the cairngorms, both are used and I must admit to actually preferring the citrines as they seem more alive. Re the hearts, I must profess ignorance to the fact that they were also known as witches' hearts as I have always known them as luckenbooths. Thanks for the education!
I am always worried about speaking too much OT on TPF and getting my knuckles rapped by a mod, but if you like keeping your eye on Scottish gem jewellery I can send you a couple of links to jewellers here. x
By all means, Pautinka, send me links to those jewelers. It'd be fun to look at what they carry.

Lots of warm grays. But it's late at night now and colours never look quite right under fluorescent lights. I'll check tomorrow morning to see if there are any blues and teals. Belle Chasse and other Linares scarves are really very beautiful but the squick factor kind of deters me from those with the post-hunt bounty theme.
Is squick the same meaning as "ick"?
