Hi back!ahahaahaha
Hi from russian babushka))))))))))))))))))))
What a thoughtful thing to do for your mom. Hope she's better.I believe the Luckenbooths were originally from Edinburgh and given to sweethearts. They are often thought as charms and something that a child may give to a mother too and vice versa. When my mother was very ill this year I brought her a silver version on a chain to wear round her neck till she became better.
WoWSA! What a collection! Beautiful! I believe that the early settlers in the U.S., the Pilgrims, shared their Thanksgiving with Native Americans. I surely hope they did.I'd like to wish all my friends from the USA who celebrate a very H-appy Thanksgiving
Here are a few of my more obvious feathered scarves and I hope it's not too un-PC to include a First Nation person too in my
Apparat des Plaines by Tzapoff, obviously we think of them at this time of year and the very beautiful nature and diverse flora and fauna that makes up the US.
Hi, moma! It's a Flamingo Party cotton pareo.![]()
Beautiful monochrome, pirula -- love the two patterns together! So sharp
I am very excited to make my first contribution here on SotD because the postman just delivered this beauty! I think this will also be my SotD tomorrow for Thanksgiving - so I guess this is my scarf of today and tomorrow and probably the next day, maybe week, who knows? Forgive the utter lack of styling, I literally threw it on the second I got her out of her pretty orange box! Good thing she stands on her own, regardless.
Thank you Maedi. She's made slow but sure progress from the intensive care unit to walking and talking very well again.
Heaving a big sigh but I'm going to have to resist checking for now. I just plonked down my last payment for a changeant moussie (inspired by @bunnycatI think this pareo is still available in boutiques, xincinsin.![]()
My goodness, Croisette! You continue to outdo yourself! What an extraordinary collection!
That MP, in particular, is spectacular on you!
Thank you kindly fifi, CoffeeSLP & Maedi!I don't understand why I don't have a Plumes shawl.

I would be happy to have this one, scarf.I think there is a bird someplace on this scarf, but really I was off topic. What I actually wore today. Sulfures( paperweights) in 140 mousseline.View attachment 3887782 View attachment 3887783 View attachment 3887784
