I have lots of winged creatures and actually quite a few more actual birds than I first supposed.

I have 2 MPs but you know those so here are some lesser-spotted specimens

Echoing my last post that wasn't strictly for 'bird week' but so I don't repeat myself here are Napoleon's eagles on my orange border Napoleon

Tropical coloured beauties on what is DH's favourite scarf of mine

In Jardin there are birds a peacock and at least another flying (a Jay perhaps?)

Can you see the other blue bird flying against the green bush?

Flamingos of course!

Sadly I think these feathers on Les Plumes are probably all that's left of the birds from the 'hunting specialist' Henri de Linares

Not showing here the penguins but they there

and my fave the doves of peace (even though the UN are not my fave org right now)

What a beautiful bunch of feathery friends - the wonderful perfect match of the Bolide and Les Plumes is really something special :-)

image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg Just loving this week's theme - thanks for all the great pictures! Sorry about the quality and size of my pics - but love these scarves so much that I'd love to share. The scarves/artists are Les Mesanges/Xavier de Poret, Les Oiseaux des Champs et des Bois/Hugo Grykar and Les Pies/de Poret :-)
For some reason they come out upside down but hope you will enjoy anyway - still a novice re. posting pictures!

Au coeur de la vie is one of my favorite designs- love all the birds and other wildlife on that design!
But thought I would show a bird scarf from 2016. Au pays de l'oiseaux fleurs. Birds everywhere you look.
DH picked out this CW! It is one one of his favorites.

Lucky you to be able to look lovely in a yellow scarf :-) Got a couple with a pale yellow background, one fit for this week come to think of it, Les Cuvees, but sadly looking sickly in it - my only Easter scarf to boot :-)

HAPPY YEAR OF THE FIRE ROOSTER to everyone around the globe. It has been a challenging start of the year, but things are finally getting into gear, though a lot is going to require adjustments to a new "norm". Wanted to share my CNY theme silks though I found it difficult to find any roosters - there are plenty of birds. I enjoy all your lovely bird images as they bring out the beauties of our winged friends as we prepare for spring.

Could be a rooster, though I think it is a Phoenix from Turandot...guess rooster would not have such a grand plumage.

You beat me to posting this Croisette :-) I've got one older issue with a grey "frame" and without the clouds, all soft and well worn - never seen your delicious ice cream version!

I've had Kermit Oliver's Texas Wildlife carré since 1987; it was the second scarf I added to my collection. Today I pulled it out of the drawer to enjoy the many Texas birds he represents so beautifully. There is the giant wild turkey in the middle, of course, but here are some other feathered beauties:
(1) Canada Goose, (2) Mallard, (3) Pintail, (4) Wood Duck

(5) Barn Owl

(6) Blue Jay

(7) Cardinal

(8) Peregrine Falcon. I think. Or else it's a Merlin. Any other birders (or Texans) on this thread who can keep me honest here? :p

Love these beautiful close-ups of birds, Elaine, momasaurus and scarf1! I'm enjoying the bird watching discussions, too! :amuse:

I love that first scarf best, eliwon! Just fabulous!
You look great in pink, Elaine! :hbeat:

So far I've worn my Mythiques Phoenix -- it seemed fitting as a "Year of the Rooster" scarf. :) But I think I should go dig up my Peuple du Vent for tomorrow. I'm sure there's a rooster there somewhere... :giggle:
