I love Autumn -- I had Scarf Mail yesterday for a kind of a Grail for me. Maybe not everyone's taste, but so beautiful!
First is a new photo of an old favorite:
Belle Chasse (Nice Hunt), the "sleeping pheasants" scarf in silk
Belle Chasse composite tpf.jpg
Although I love Belle Chasse, I always thought it should really be in cashmere. I didn't want one exactly the same, either, so I've been stalking a CSPM Gibiers (Game), preferably at a great price (of course). Well, I got lucky last week and it came just in time for Autumn colors week.

It's as cozy as I hoped and goes with lots of autumn colors! I'm very happy, despite the little "squick factor" of a pile of game animals.
And to cleanse your palate, here's a CSPM 90 Art des Steppes outdoors:

Happy Autumn! Nothing like an H cashmere scarf for walking the dogs and scuffing through the leaves!

Beautiful posts ABQ, and autumn colors are your most complementary colors!

19 November 2017 KERMIT OLIVER or FEATHER scarves in honor of KO’s big turkey
I overlapped last week and this one with Belle Chasse and Gibiers, which are both feathered and autumnal, but let's not forget the Big American Bird that occupies the center of Faune et Flora du Texas. (My cw is actually gray in the center, not blue--I like it because the cacti around the turkey are shades of pink and peach.)

A couple of Kermit Olivers:

Two views of Les Mythologies des Hommes Rouges tied to show the pretty center and the interesting border:

Belle Chasse still squicks me out but you looked so good in it that I acquired one anyway. Maybe this week I'll actually put it on

Today, it's Faconnerie Royal Deduit, which @Cookiefiend put on my radar. Lovely lovely jacquard! It's very white and reminds me of an opera scarf when I do a simple drape.

This is based on a 2-point tie and it's a useful start to a couple of different knots.
Fold the scarf in half, then take one of the corners to make a diagonal fold. (The corner loops are there because the first two pix were taken with the scarf hanging on the wall.)
View attachment 3884295 Hold the new corners and put them behind your head and let the pointed ends hang on your chest. (I left the loops as markers for you, then removed them).
Use a two-hole scarf ring (this is a medium) and run one side of the scarf through one hole, then do the same for the other side. Pull the ends until each scarf corner pulls through.

No tying necessary, just fluff and twist the hems until they look nice (this tie is especially pretty with contrast hems). The scarf ring sits sideways and doesn't move because there is so much silk going through each hole.

Thank you so much! Do you happen to have any other tutorials?
