I'm quite at home in Autumnal colours, these are just a few

So why the Versailles? In the UK fireworks start around Diwali, this year mid October and carry on and on and on weeks past Guy Fawkes night (Nov 5). I'm sure they had an evening party in mind in this cw, and fireworks were so much a feature of a evening at the palace.

I dedicate my single Le Carnaval de Venise/Fetes Venitiennes to @momasaurus and @Croisette7 and our @Scarf Addict.. One of my flattering and beautiful favourite scarves, mine in a FSH box, so special.
I am totally blown away by this magnificent display of HS and coordinating accessories. The La Femme pix which shows a bit of your hair and makeup, just a stunning picture.

Oh yes, this CW is beautiful!! Love your leathers also.

I love it, too!! I wasn’t sure I’d get it, but this photo inspired me. Now I have it in two colorways!!

Looks beautiful with grey!

Thanks Ladies for your kind words. HNN, happy to be twin with you and such a pleasure to see this stunning "grande dame" wearing Savana. This South African Artists print is made for her. Thanks for all the likes too

Beautiful! May I ask how you tied the Tous Les Bateaux du Monde?
This is based on a 2-point tie and it's a useful start to a couple of different knots.
Fold the scarf in half, then take one of the corners to make a diagonal fold. (The corner loops are there because the first two pix were taken with the scarf hanging on the wall.)
2 point tie step 1.jpg Hold the new corners and put them behind your head and let the pointed ends hang on your chest. (I left the loops as markers for you, then removed them).
Use a two-hole scarf ring (this is a medium) and run one side of the scarf through one hole, then do the same for the other side. Pull the ends until each scarf corner pulls through.

No tying necessary, just fluff and twist the hems until they look nice (this tie is especially pretty with contrast hems). The scarf ring sits sideways and doesn't move because there is so much silk going through each hole.
