Pretty sad stuff from me this week -- although I am a self-styled Queen of Neutral Tops, I'm just not happy in neutral scarves.
I only have a few:
Soleil de Soie 70

C'est la Fete 70 (hardly a neutral topic)
View attachment 3646614
Mythiques Phoenix 90 (lots of dark shades in here)

I hope you all will change my mind with your lovely offerings this week.
I was waiting for your examples, ABQ, cos I couldn't wrap my mind around the concept of neutral :confused1: I'm looking forward to a most educational week! :smartass:

You've probably got more neutrals than I do ABQ!

Today me and dallet (sp?) I was skeptical because of the felines but have become a convert to this design! Thank you for letting me share!:flowers:

Love!!!! It's perfect!

LOL- You make me laugh xincinsin! I'm having a hard time myself mentally cataloguing what I may have that may be considered neutral".

DS1 once remarked suspiciously: How many scarves do you actually need?
Luckily, none of my menfolk have asked how much does each scarf cost or how many I've amassed. Attention is permanently diverted by a niece who flaunts designer bags and diamonds, and once shelled out US$300 for a fake bag in China because she couldn't find anything else to buy.

This made me laugh so much - the diamonds and bags niece! I need to borrow her or invent a friend who carries on like this, though my husband is now immune to my "consumer relativism" arguments, he is a hardline spending absolutist. I think I overplayed that card in the past...But maybe if I gave my imaginary friend a gambling addiction and Ferrari fetish???

I bought it off the Bay because I lived many years in Ohio, home of the Wright Brothers and Neal Armstrong (and John Glenn, but he's not on the scarf). I like the justaposition of the ancient and elaborate flying machines with the modern streamlined airplanes.

What an interesting scarf, and I love the way you connect to it,

Great details here! I love your clever categorisations too! And I Adore Mr White Bunny, I have often been tempted to get La Magie scarf mainly because of the cute rabbit but of course now I have re-invented myself as Mother Teresa and have taken a vow of poverty and am too busy polishing my halo etc (I give it 2 days max before my True Character breaks out again..)

Busy snickering quietly in case DS gets suspicious again. I renew my vow of poverty every month... had to hock the halo...

I scoured the wardrobe and realized that I do have some neutrals and monochromes. Although, considering the extremely low level of usage, you could say I'm neutral to my neutrals  Most of them were bought because they were too lovely to pass on, but I haven't got the panache to pull off the Jil Sander look.

Cheval sur Mon Carre, monochrome cw of Jeune Coqs, and Central Park

Au fil de l'inde, Dans L'atelier, and 2 anthracite MP because I'm one of those folks that @papertiger mentioned who buy dupes

I love your neutrals! Though I must ask...is there a benifit to buying duplicates? I have never thought about it before...:thinkin:Maybe I should start...

I've bought dupes twice. I liked my Cuirs du Desert so much that I was reaching for it a few times a week. When the same cw came up on the resale market at a decent price and in excellent condition, I bought it. When I put them side by side, the wear and tear on the first scarf is rather evident, so no regrets.
The 2nd purchase of the MP was partly due to the price - it was like new and going at much less than retail, and partly because I was experimenting then with using 2 scarves at once (H had such a seductive video clip with the model showing off a top tied from 2 similar scarves) and was looking for a dupe or same design, diff cw.

:giggle:Your description of h scarf videos is wonderful! And accurate! :DI had thought about duplicates but thought...that's crazy! But I can see the rationalization as I have a few scarves which I have worn and worn that I now wish I had duplicates of. :flowers:
