Must include the Pytheas silk too...I think it may work for this weeks theme since voyagers used the stars and heavenly bodies for navigation at times

I love all of these but I would KILL for your Jardin de N A, what a lovely, subtle colourway. I love this design but only ever see it in pink or blue colourway which though nice would be difficult to wear..

I know What you mean! The neutral colors give the design an edge that takes the "cuteness" out of it.

Love this fearsome fish! A similar character appears on the Au delà de cinq Mers around the center medallion. Beautiful vintage scarf!

Today wearing Jonques et Sampans, bad photo as dog was pulling on my ankle. Sometimes I find the turquoise and gold too blingy but today it's grey and windy in the UK so I found it cheering.

Pudfish, this scarf would definitely brighten a dreary day! I love it with the large scarf ring---very pretty!

Ah, bruxelles -- there's Mare Nostrum...and with two more lovely water-themed silks. Well-done!
And I at least found a bit of my Mare Nostrum, this time paired with a Tapis Volante plisse for two-scarf week. You can see the lovely fish spouts that grace each corner!

Not a depiction of anything actually watery but from the archives, here's Fred Rawyler's wordy Les Sources de la Vie in the GM mousseline. This was a ridiculously priced rescue project from "the usual source" and I just couldn't let it languish
