Gorgeous, scarf1! I've always loved this scarf for its ephemeral design - the same reason I love toile. Do you have any pics of it tied?

And thank you for the link, that was a fascinating read! I'm so curious about her window displays now. And wonder if they stand the rest of time... Reminds me of watching Mr. Selfridge with the dreamy window design guy - Henri LeClair.

I'd be all, "Henri, you must come to my bedroom immediately! I have a *ahem* window emergency!"

And he'd be all:

Good heavens is it already next week!!!!

Extending the 'heavens' to the afterlife, the circle/cycle of life and illuminating stars with Hermes/Hades, snakes, and glints of light from Hermes' caduceus on Caducee Rock (BTW that's a hat and not my hair ;) )

Makes me want to see the rest of the hat papertiger, Nice pairing with the tweedy/boucle jacket (love the teal flecks!)

What a shame re. lack of inventory in Londom H shops! London of all cities in Europe, apart from Paris itself, should be the best H equipped city in Europe - this is where we all come to immerse ourselves in history, culture, language, sense of hunour - and to have some H retail therapy :-)

Sorry I'm late -- DH & I just galloped in from our Road Trip: Washington DC non-stop to Atlanta today!
Thanks to Croisette for getting us underway for this week's theme -- one for which I don't have many examples, so extra thanks to all!
19 Mar 2017 (Vernal Equinox March 20) CELESTIAL BODIES: SUN, MOON, STARS, and PLANETS

This week we’re looking at the sky
CELESTIAL BODIES found on high –
The largest one, of course, the SUN:
Without its warmth we’d all be done.
As sun goes down, behold the MOON,
When it’s full, a lover’s boon.
On darker nights we see the STARS
And other PLANETS (some like ours?)

Go to your scarves this week and find
Celestial bodies, any kind –
Astrologers devise their charts;
Mythology plays many parts.
Sun or moon signs, come and share—
Are you earth, water, fire, or air?
This week let’s all use our eyes
And keep them focused on the skies.

La Ronde des Planets cotton 70 -- I love Dimitri R's little H horse & caleche galloping on the right side (actually the top of the scarf, but my photo is turned sideways).

I have nothing celestial in my collection to share this week, but perhaps I'll get the answer to something I've always wondered: Is it true that La Voie Lactee glows in the dark?? I don't know where I got this - maybe I dreamt it ... but if it's true can we get some mod pics glowing in the dark???
