All my scarves are workhorses as my collection is still quite small. But here is the actual scarf I'm still wearing after my (long) day at work: Point d'Orgue. I bought this scarf to wear with black, but find myself wearing it more and brown with grey, olive green and brown.
A few of my workhorses. My most used scarf in cooler weather is my first GM - the pink Kelly en Caleche. It has a few runs and is piling but it is so easy to match and wear.
The others are 90 cm Fleurs Indiennes, ACSMC and Pegase.
Nana, thank you dear. I must say I am so envious of your bob! It looks like the perfect cut to show H silks.
nana845 I have a busy life at home, cooking and taking care of my kids. I keep my scarf on most of the time, but turn it around (it hangs on my back). this way, most of my scarves survive to cooking, dishwasher loading, kid's bath and so on![]()
LOVE Passiflores on you , I've often wondered how it would look tied and having thought that I'm going off wearing my silks, this photo is making me change heart .
Maedi - I always feel relieved when a scarf doesn't suit me One checked off the long list, I don't mind! I actually had to check off the powder blue Au Coeur de la Vie twill, my SA said I looked grey with that one on. Great, now I have only one on my list, the white/red.
Ms Piggy - Great jersey - such a classic design as well! You wore it very well. Thumbs up!
Here you go, my dear Maedi! Not the best one, sorry... but this will give you an idea. This 'dirty' blue perfectly works with jeans :
Thank you for your kind words, dear perfumegirl. Just like you I balanced between pink and blue, took the blue, and even if still think of the pink, the blue wins! Good luck deciding!
And don't be worried, the dip-dyes don't like the rain but I wouldn't describe them as "fragile" as they are easier to clean than regular twill. I just try to avoid the rain for them . Under rain, get your moussies out! They work wonderfully!
Nico, I am so bad with these acronyms...LdR? I love the way it ties with the black as part of the knot.
You're very welcome, my dear Maedi, and once again, thank you for your always so sweet words!Dear Anfang, thank you for the modeling shot. frou frou put it very eloquently regarding your style. You have such a refined elegance and know exactly what suits you. This is super on you and I can see it in summer or winter. By the way, I have had rain on my dip dyes and it didn't do any harm. I just hand washed my GM dd Brazil and it turned out great.
frou frou, your entire outfit is so great - you would catch my eye if we passed each other. Love the coat, the beautiful bag and the colors. The scarf is so regal and quietly glorious. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement regarding Tiger - hopefully I haven't missed the boat yet.
seton, your classic GM with this fun sweater and the way the colors play off each other is perfection.
nana, Passiflore is gorgeous on you and the gold on the black is wonderful on you.
sophieg, your scarf complements your hair, skin and eye colors beautifully. Love your cardigan, too (is it JCrew?).
And I understand why, Maedi! ACSMC in b/w is the best ever cw of this design! And love your FdI too!A few of my workhorses. My most used scarf in cooler weather is my first GM - the pink Kelly en Caleche. It has a few runs and is piling but it is so easy to match and wear.
The others are 90 cm Fleurs Indiennes, ACSMC and Pegase.
Hehehehehe my dear Jahna, those were the days!Passiflores is gorgeous Nana...
Sparkle, you look great in the blues; I am singing the blues because there are no goat pictures in my email..
Scarf1, I have one moussie; haven't worn it yet. Guess now that Spring is really here I'll get it out.
back to you Scarf Addict!

Chestnutty, that stuffed dog can really tie a knot; where can I get a knot-tying stuffed dog?
Seton, you are a lady after my own heart: t-shirt (with dog!) and scarf. My best looks are all about the T-shirt.
CrazyAboutShoes, is that your limo? My friend Jeffrey once told me to stop moaning about not being able to wear spike (I am dating myself) heels anymore: "Honey," he said, "Those ladies all have limos!" Tell me that is a limo (I will feel better).
Anfang, ah, yes, those saxaphones...
A superb cw of this Galop Chromatique, Jahna! Here are a couple of ways "Galop Chromatique" works. (It has two distinct CWs in the same scarf)

Thank you my dear! Yes, two 90 tied together look better to me than one!Love the sweater with your shawl, dear seton!
The blue really glows on you, dear crazyaboutshoes!
2 in 1! It's such a great look on you, dear Anfang
I totally agree, my dear Chestnutty! Love at first sight!D Lee, Maedi, Melora24, Anfang, Setherwood, Nico_79, Jahna - I'm glad you find the tutorial interesting. I had been worrying you guys would wonder my sanity as to why a grown woman like me still have a teddy bear!
Ah this is like all neutral shades reside in one scarf, no wonder why it's your workhorse!
This is indeed your color, Anfang!
I did try the icy blue Au Coeur. It didn't work on me, made my skin too ashy/greyish. It's indeed great by itself, so sad it didn't work on my skin. And, hey I need another blue scarf like I need another head, too.
I hope I'll see the wine Leila shawl next week when I travel.
Hello my H friends. I've been busy a little and what I found - 20 pages of beautiful scarves and dicussians. Great!
I missed the crittrs week but show you my most often worn silk- Carpe diem. I looove blue and in this scarf it's so bright.

My other fav H is my only cashmere shawl but I've shown it already.

For sure, ms piggy : the color names are Orage/Framboise. I must admit my first choice would have been CenC in this cw too, because of the large framboise Cinétique stripe. But Concours ties very well, and for me, the winner is and remains 140!I'm currently up to 3 cw of the ACdlV on my wish list. Something about the print and the colouration this round is making me crazy like never before on any print!
Loving the Concours d'Etriers on you Anfang and am liking the colours too, is it cw04 (and would you have the colour names as well)? I tried the salmon cw recently but am holding out till I see more cw. I simply adore the dip dye esp in the 140 format!
Well, I can't claim to have the most famous TPF bob (there are at least two ladies here with vey inspiring bobs) but you a re right, it's very easy to wear scarves under it.
I wanted to comment on that look and finally have time to do so...it is fabulous. What I find particularly stunning is that you appear to have doubled a 90 cm around your neck by folding it not on the bias, but as a 90 cm strip. Wow. You must have an incredibly slim neck.
John, from the home of The Final Four (a Badger fan, my mother was an alum, BS '32, MS '40). Forward.
Thank you, dear!Love your scarf cw. It's sooo yours!
I love the CW of your Kelly en Caleche GM, dear Maedi! It reminds me of my favorite Kenzo stole, which I have worn so much that it too is pilling (maybe I should get it an H replacementA few of my workhorses. Thank you, dear Anfang!I really love your Point d'Orgue in this color, sophieg!![]()
Thank you, dear Nico! I pretty much wear my silks daily, at least before the weather gets too warmSophieg, I think it looks great on you! Doesn't matter how large or small the collection, as long as we use our silks.![]()
Still one of my two most loved and worn H scarves. This was well worn when I bought it , so I have no qualms about wearing it wherever , whenever . It's very tough and hasn't complained at all .
Brins d'Or GM cashmere

Ah! You kill me every time I see your petit duc. I skipped this design because I was on a 90cm break at the time. How do you wear your two together? Pray tell. And another workhorse -or should I say 2 workhorses? Petit Duc x2! Here you go :
