Ahh I'm so behind in seeing everyone's awesome photos!

Sparklelisab, your DH has good taste and a moussie no less! Looks beautiful on you!

Pegase, ahhh we are cousins on this Tiger DD! I have the green cw, never saw yours in person, but it is beautiful!

94107, wearing H to camp, love this!

Hermesguy, I love that this has special reference for you. Makes these H silks a bit more charming imo!

Anfang, you're killing me with all your pretty DDs! You wear them so effortlessly!

Jahna, this is beautiful! Hmm...trying to think of a way you can show off the shells...maybe a knot expert can chime in?
Because they're so easy to wear, my dear Nico! Unless it rains... The tiniest raindrop makes a spot, this is the one and only problem with these... Bah, when it's raining, I put my mousselines at work! ;)

D Lee, this one is for you, courtesy France H.com : Les Clés bleu gris/bleu moyen, flat. Trust my colors, you know that the cws on H.com are not truthful :

Yay, Nico! We're twins on both! :ghi5: I agree, both go with everything !!!

Chestnutty, thank you about the tutorial! Mr Teddy Bear is def a great model!

D Lee, I'm going to post a flat one from France H.com. But the colors of the site are not exact, my pic has the true cw of this one.

Here you go, my dear Maedi! Not the best one, sorry... but this will give you an idea. This 'dirty' blue perfectly works with jeans :

Hi Anfang, this is lovely on you and fits your style really well. Did you see any of the other colors for this dip dye? I also purchased the same blue and love it, but since I am trying to avoid multiples, I may exchange it for the pink cw. But, every time I plan to go to the boutique, I look at my shawl and think, maybe not today.

Also, I saw that you said the dip dyes get stained easily by water? Is this something that comes out? I love my dip dyes and have not worn them in the rain, etc and am now worried about how fragile they may be with water marks. is it the case that they stain more easily than the regular silk twills?

Thank you for your kind words, dear perfumegirl. Just like you I balanced between pink and blue, took the blue, and even if still think of the pink, the blue wins! Good luck deciding! 😉

And don't be worried, the dip-dyes don't like the rain but I wouldn't describe them as "fragile" as they are easier to clean than regular twill. I just try to avoid the rain for them . Under rain, get your moussies out! They work wonderfully! 😊

I love the work horse theme. Such a sensible one!

Here's one of my two work horses. This is Passiflores.

(Can you tell it's still wintry around here?)

Passiflores always takes my breath away. This is exquisite.

Silkies, I have come over to the blue side--slowly but truly. This moussie is the first and only silk my dh has bought for me and since I have worn it (according to my spreadsheet) the most of all my silks--I declare it my work horse. (yuck--sorry about straggly hair)

So glad u are coming over to the blue side. I think it's most becoming on you. :smile1:

I love, love that washed dirty blue. It's a winner. I am quite tempted, myself.

workhorse, eh?

here is one of mine. because it's white border, I can wear it thruout the yr. it's also one of two CS GMs that I always take on my trips (the other is Grand Fonds).

Thank you seton! If you too like these false, subdued, muted blues, for sure this one is for you. A je ne sais quoi you'll cannot resist! 😉

This one is beautiful, crazyaboutshoes!

Congrats, hermesguy! New Orleans is a stunner! And a saxophon player never sleeps alone! ;)

Too funny Anfang!! I bagged one of those in my youth...

Hermesguy, you always look great even if we only ever get a bit of the scarf! You were meant for the distinguished look of ascots. What ever happened to pipes, BTW? Not that I am encouraging smoking...

So you see what I mean, my dear Jahna? ;):D
