Passiflores is gorgeous Nana...

Sparkle, you look great in the blues; I am singing the blues because there are no goat pictures in my email..:nogood:

Scarf1, I have one moussie; haven't worn it yet. Guess now that Spring is really here I'll get it out.

 back to you Scarf Addict!

Nico, I am so bad with these acronyms...LdR? I love the way it ties with the black as part of the knot.

Chestnutty, that stuffed dog can really tie a knot; where can I get a knot-tying stuffed dog?

Seton, you are a lady after my own heart: t-shirt (with dog!) and scarf. My best looks are all about the T-shirt.

CrazyAboutShoes, is that your limo? My friend Jeffrey once told me to stop moaning about not being able to wear spike (I am dating myself) heels anymore: "Honey," he said, "Those ladies all have limos!" Tell me that is a limo (I will feel better).

Anfang, ah, yes, those saxaphones...

Here are a couple of ways "Galop Chromatique" works. (It has two distinct CWs in the same scarf)

All my scarves are workhorses as my collection is still quite small. But here is the actual scarf I'm still wearing after my (long) day at work: Point d'Orgue. I bought this scarf to wear with black, but find myself wearing it more and brown with grey, olive green and brown.

Silkies, I have come over to the blue side--slowly but truly. This moussie is the first and only silk my dh has bought for me and since I have worn it (according to my spreadsheet) the most of all my silks--I declare it my work horse. (yuck--sorry about straggly hair)
You trained you dh well, my dear! It's a fabulous mousse, and I can see wearing it with so much!

Posting two of my workhorses, both CSGMs unsurprisingly given the chilly climate! :p

First one is Sequences, one of my first shawls and from the Men's section no less. The second one is LdR that just works with everything. Please excuse the messy knots, after a long day at work I don't really care how they end up.
Lovely neutrals, dear Nico!

MYH, D Lee - Sorry to keep you guys waiting. Here are the steps of this cozy kno

Pros: no fold wrinkles, able to show details located at/near the center of the scarf
Cons: bulky and too cozy for warmer days.

Many thanks to Mr. Teddy Bear!
Thank you, Mr. Teddy Bear and Chestnutty! I've been playing with turning the triangle scarf sideways and sort of fluffing the scarf up to highlight different areas, but this looks like it would stay in place much better

Still one of my two most loved and worn H scarves. This was well worn when I bought it , so I have no qualms about wearing it wherever , whenever . It's very tough and hasn't complained at all .

Brins d'Or GM cashmere
Frou frou! Good to see you and your beautiful Trim here!

workhorse, eh?

here is one of mine. because it's white border, I can wear it thruout the yr. it's also one of two CS GMs that I always take on my trips (the other is Grand Fonds).
Love the sweater with your shawl, dear seton!

Hello my H friends. I've been busy a little and what I found - 20 pages of beautiful scarves and dicussians. Great!
I missed the crittrs week but show you my most often worn silk- Carpe diem. I looove blue and in this scarf it's so bright.

My other fav H is my only cashmere shawl but I've shown it already.
The blue really glows on you, dear crazyaboutshoes!

And another workhorse -or should I say 2 workhorses? Petit Duc x2! Here you go :
2 in 1! It's such a great look on you, dear Anfang

.

Sorry darling, it's just a BMW:p But since I have kids I realised that I can only wear heels when I'm on a car. When I was younger I could walk miles and miles with my highscraper heels on.Not anymore. Now I prefer flats:laugh:

D Lee, Maedi, Melora24, Anfang, Setherwood, Nico_79, Jahna - I'm glad you find the tutorial interesting. I had been worrying you guys would wonder my sanity as to why a grown woman like me still have a teddy bear! :p

Ah this is like all neutral shades reside in one scarf, no wonder why it's your workhorse!

This is indeed your color, Anfang!

Chestnutty, do become my Leila twin. I, too, felt relieved when several scarves looked blah on me. Did you try the ice blue Au Coeur?
I did try the icy blue Au Coeur. It didn't work on me, made my skin too ashy/greyish. It's indeed great by itself, so sad it didn't work on my skin. And, hey I need another blue scarf like I need another head, too .
I hope I'll see the wine Leila shawl next week when I travel.

Does someone own Galop chromatique? If so, I'd love to see some mod pics. I just discovered it, and it seems so gorgeous and versatile!!!
Which cw are you contemplating? There are a lot of mod pics on Fall 2012 thread:

I am in love with the softness of my colorway. It's colorful, but still creamy and not too neon bright. The silk hand is wonderfully smooth and velvety, it feels like silkasm when the scarf fondles my neck. (Ooops mods please don't censor my post)

Dear Anfang, thank you for the modeling shot. frou frou put it very eloquently regarding your style. You have such a refined elegance and know exactly what suits you. This is super on you and I can see it in summer or winter. By the way, I have had rain on my dip dyes and it didn't do any harm. I just hand washed my GM dd Brazil and it turned out great.

frou frou, your entire outfit is so great - you would catch my eye if we passed each other. Love the coat, the beautiful bag and the colors. The scarf is so regal and quietly glorious. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement regarding Tiger - hopefully I haven't missed the boat yet.

seton, your classic GM with this fun sweater and the way the colors play off each other is perfection.

nana, Passiflore is gorgeous on you and the gold on the black is wonderful on you.

sophieg, your scarf complements your hair, skin and eye colors beautifully. Love your cardigan, too (is it JCrew?).

A few of my workhorses. My most used scarf in cooler weather is my first GM - the pink Kelly en Caleche. It has a few runs and is piling but it is so easy to match and wear.
The others are 90 cm Fleurs Indiennes, ACSMC and Pegase.
