Silkies, some of you know these pics but I want to show again as there are so many new Silkies who haven't seen them. Orangeaddiction, this is for you and your Plisse Beaties. This is Puff, my hedgehog in a Plisse. He loves it so!
OMG! I couldn't see your plisse clearly but your hedgehog got all my attention. He is so cute! But u must trim his nails or one day he will damage your silks, or worse, yourself!:D

D Lee, I love little poochy belly cat. His soulful eyes are wonderful---they are your rescues, right?
Yes. Both cats in the picture were picked up with eyes unopened when they were about to be discarded into rubbish bins. Her poochy belly was formed when she resorted to eating 24/7 because her position as alpha cat was usurped when a third rescue joined the household!:D

And I had to show you Skunk, who loves when I get out my scarves to examine which ones need to go to cleaners. I went outside for a moment, and almost left them unprotected, but the last second, I thought to throw the white towel over the silk. Good thing as Skunk wanted right on top of the pile. He has such good taste!
I thought that my cats have good taste because usually within 5" of my room door left open, they jump onto my bed & curl up on my down comforter. Your Skunk goes one better & curl up on your scarves! These lucky cats!

Okay Tanker Toad, this is it for today! Silkies, you all know I love Axis Mundi and some of you may remember two girls born last year, Birkin and Kelly. Well, Kelly girl crawled under a tractor three days ago to give birth and the boys and DH in the house thought things would be fine. Well, they have never given birth and I knew she needed my comfort. So I kinda crawled under as best I could and soon, the first baby was entering the world sideways. Not good. I have never been a midwife, but I have watched lots of YouTube videos on the subject and believed I knew what to do. Tada! Number one girl delivered. And then number two! I loved every second and here they are--a boy and girl twenty minutes after birth and then, one hour later, they were hopping and exploring. Goats are amazing. On silk, under tractors, in arms.
What lovely goats! They must be a joy to have! If u remember, I also have the same Axis Mundi. Still love it like the day it came home!

What colors are your scarves? I do love the pattern but would love to see it in darker colors!
Mine are 90 silks acquired last yr, though they are indeed of darker colors. Your 140 is lovely. I was actually thinking very hard of acquiring a similar light-colored 90 as a third one last spring!

A few of the critters from Tous les Bateaux du Monde. There are more birds, some butterflies, and even a few sea critters but I thought I'd save them for those theme weeks later on. Love the border on this design!

I'm so late here, still dunno if I'll be able to catch up! :doggie: Now, sparklelisab, your pics are adorable! Your hedgehog is soooo cute with the Plissé, and such is your Skunk. Major congrats about your 2 babies !:heart::heart:

pierina2, I did not locate the monkey in L'Atlantide. I looked for over a half hour! The scarf is so dense with detail it was fascinating.

Sparkle, love your real life critters. Happy you learned midwifery skills on the spot.

Love all the other posts. Now must look for a scarf for another cold day here.

Sparkle, your critter pictures and stories really made me smile. Thanks so much!
